Deciding what do you want to do professionally during your entire life is a very frightening thought. I remember when I was dealing with that decision, my mind was going in all directions, so I tried to focus on what I truly would love to do.
I always had a passion for English since I was a little girl and I watched American films just to listen to that beautiful language. I loved everything about it: the sound, the pronunciation, the words. Until this day, I still have on my mind the way I repeated them in order to memorize that magical language. And later, when I started my English studies at school, soon I began reading books in English as well. Due to that I also developed a new passion: reading.

My sense of organization grew as well as my ability to deal with conflicts. I improve my communication skills and developed a necessity to understand the others and their points of view.
Being a teacher also taught me the importance of giving students motivation and the willingness to go after their dreams or aspirations in life. And doing that with them, I realized that I also want to chase my goals. I always had the idea of taking a postgraduate course after finishing my degree, but I wasn’t certain which subject area I would want to pursue. I love education, but there are other things that I love more and which I’m very keen to explore: reading and writing.
Having in mind what’s necessary to be an exceptional writer, I believe that being a teacher also improved those skills: every day I used my imagination to create unique and amusing classes to prevent my students to become bored. Despite having weekly meetings, I worked for several hours alone, so I am used to that and I enjoy it. I also developed researching and networking skills during my teaching years.
