The more I asked them questions and the more I watched them work, the more captivated I became by their role and realized I wanted to be in their position. As a result, I believe that my close working relationship with the Pathologists ' and Pathologists ' Assistants, as well as the exposure and knowledge I have gained by working in the department will help me succeed, particularly in Loma Linda University 's Pathologists ' Assistant program. Loma Linda University is a good fit for me a few reasons.

Being a physician’s assistant is the solution to your worries about eight years of college. Soon enough medical offices will be hiring fewer physicians and more PAs. PA’s are cost effective for both offices and your insurance company (“Physician Assistants Encyclopedia”). They are also slowly being trained to do more advanced tasks in the workplace(“Physician Assistants Bureau”). I am finding that it is a much better decision to be a PA rather than a physician because this is a career on the rise.

Most Medical Assistants go to school for two years, usually at a community college or vocational school. What I really like about this career is that Medical Assistants programs are both abundant and flexible, no matter what your situation is you can always find a school to suit your schedule.
Some require late nights, holiday hours, and weekends. Medical assistants deal with the public, therefore, they must be neat and well groomed and have a courteous, pleasant demeanor. Medical assistants must also be able to put patients at ease and explain physicians’ instructions. They must realize the patient may have just received bad news. Basically, you must have a real desire to help people.
What makes me good for this career is that I'm strong, ready to save lives and fight. Paramedics have many special tasks and skills. Their main and most important skill is saving lives. They are always on call, ready and strong. They take care of each and every patient to the best of their ability.
It is also the responsibility of the physician assistants to examine patients, as would a doctor, in order to obtain information about a patients’ physical condition. In some hospitals physician assistants could find themselves practicing medicine on teams with other physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare workers. They would examine, diagnose and treat a multitude of patients from a broad range of backgrounds.
Most physician assistants stay physician assistants for most of their time in the medical field. One of the few ways one could advance, however, would be to get an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree, and working in a more managerial or administrative position. In some cases, certain states allow PAs to open up their own clinics.
