After thoroughly reading the “Performance Responsibilities and Expectations” I have come to where I have met the expectations for performance and responsibility because I treat others with the respect they deserve and I attend my classes regularly. I realize that there is more to the responsibility than showing up, there is turning in every assignment on time, and paying attention WITHOUT getting distracted. I completely realize that I have had trouble in the past with turning in my assignment on the correct date, but trust me I am trying to work on that and get in the habit of turning things in on time and NOT get distracted during class.

The lower two jobs that I have picked from my list is an Anesthesiologist and a Medical Engineer. Anesthesiologist: ”After completing a four-year bachelor's degree, students then take four years of graduate education leading to a degree in medicine or Osteopathy. After receiving a medical degree, students must complete four more years in an anesthesiology residency.” The median salary for an Anesthesiologist is $268,579. The main reason that I would consider doing this as my career because I would like to be involved in surgeries but, not necessarily do them. Medical engineer: “For a medical engineer you need a Professional Engineer licensing, it requires a four-year college degree, work experience, two competency exams and licensure from their state.” The median wage for a medical engineer is $86,220. I would consider this as my career because as a medical engineer you would make artificial organs and artificial legs, arms, …show more content…
A high school course that I could take is Basic Sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, geometry, calculus if possible). Later on, education is… “Most aspiring physicians and surgeons must complete an undergraduate degree, followed by 4 years of medical school and a 3-7 year internship and or residency. The length of residency depends on specialization, which in the field of pediatrics, could reach 7 years. In 2014, pediatricians made a median salary of $163,350 not too bad, of course. Still, children's doctors generally earn less money than doctors with other specialties.” One of the reasons I would love this job is because I love children, I love making them laugh even when times get rough. They are so cute and sweet and that would make me want to help them even

With this being said the job outlook for me in this area is very good. If I was a coder I would be able to work in every type of medical facility including, doctors’ offices, surgery centers, hospitals and health care systems (“Medical Coder”). The more experience that I have with this job the more opportunities I will have to be able to work at home with either a hospital or a contractor (“Medical Coder”). This job has the highest percentage of women. Around 88.4% of this career field is made up of women (Shatkin).
Choosing a career in the medical field can very be overwhelming, there are a multitude of options. The job that is in demand the most is Registered Nurses. This degree, at the minimum, requires an associate’s degree. By the year 2020, all R.N.’s will need to have a BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing); Bachelor’s degree programs are 4-year programs. But don’t stop there, after 2-3 years of on the job experience, find what area you would like to specialize in, and go on and earn that Physician Assistant degree.
Being a part of the National Honor Society would be a privilege. I have been chosen as a candidate due to my academic excellence, but I understand it takes more than just a good GPA. I believe my abilities to be a leader, serve others, and express good character meet the standards set by NHS. The service opportunities that I will have as a part of NHS is what I look forward to the most.
Being an LPN was one of the milestones for me to become an RN. As a student right now I will follow the same path as I did as an LPN because it was effective for me, as a result I was able to complete the course and obtain my LPN license . As a parent, a student, I had to take into consideration the well being of my family while I was trying to become a nurse. Since nursing was my career goal, I had found ways to balance family and school. As a student I know the importance of studying and completing school works in a timely manner.
This career interest me, because I feel like this is a great field and a great thing to know. It would be great to know how the body works and what is best to do to heal as quickly as possible. It can
Calvin Neal Exploring a Health Career: Physician Assistant Ever since my cousin Paul, whom I’ve always looked up to, went to college and became a PA, I’ve wanted to follow in his footsteps. The definition of a physician assistant is “someone qualified to assist a physician and carry out routine clinical procedures under the supervision of a physician.” However, physician assistants can be so much more than that. They work in numerous fields such as pediatrics, obstetrics, orthopaedics, and with several health care providers such as nurses, surgeons, and physicians.
Work with children Throughout my high school and college years, I have had several experiences with children that have all played a part in shaping my love for working with children. During high school, I spent two summers nannying for two young school aged children. Working with these siblings really made me realize how much fun I have working with children and watching them grow. Once I came to college, I started another babysitting job working with two four year old twin girls.
However a biomedical engineer can make anywhere from $51,480 to $139,520. In 2014, there were about 22,100 jobs for biomedical engineers. Biomedical engineers work in many different settings, some work in hospitals where therapy is occurring and some work in laboratories doing research. They can commonly work in teams with other scientists, healthcare workers, or other engineers. Since biomedical engineers have the ability to work with different people from other fields the need for biomedical engineering products and services is growing.
I am well-driven and focused when it comes to something I have a passion for and in my case, it involves the medical field. I believe that I am the type of person that sets goals and does not rest until I achieve them. The fact that I know this career takes a large amount of dedication and hard work only motivates me more. Although becoming an Anesthesiologist can be considered a career path which is difficult and time consuming, I know I can prove others wrong and show them that I can have such a career. This specific part of the medical field holds more than importance to me, it holds my childhood dream, and somewhat of a sentimental value.
I would love to work with kids in the future. Although there can be some experiences with children that can make you want to go crazy but at the end of the day you love them because they make you happy. Learning the developments of children has been interesting in class and has brought me great joy. Using what I learn in class and seeing how it applies into the real world something is would see my self-doing in the future. The culture that a child is brought up in adds yet another element to this already complex mix of development.
