Why I Want To Do The Arts Education Essay

Arts education is very important to kids that want to have a career in theatre, music, etc. Schools today focus on core classes such as math and science, to prepare them for college and their future. We’re all supposed to leave high school with the same basic understanding of the world, which is good. However, if you’re planning to have a career that doesn’t involve knowing complicated formulas and things of that nature, then what’s the point in focusing so much on it?
We should focus just as much on the arts as we do on core classes. For example, I’m in band, and I want to be a musician when I grow up. In order to be proficient in band, I need to practice my skills for band just as much as I do for Algebra. Homework can take all night!

Rose’s mother also had to deduce the moods and needs of each and every customer, according to Rose “her tip depended on how well she responded to these needs, and so she became adept at reading social cues and managing feelings, both the customers’ and her own” (275).
