Study abroad become my dream since I at junior high school, I am the one that love seeing new place, meet new people and study at different place. That’s why from the first time I enter senior high school, I maintain my position on first rank for all semesters. Then I enter English Debating Society to improve my ability in English skill. Join so much competition and win most of that. Join some organization and being a leader for them. So I spend 3 years with full of activity to reach my dream, study abroad.

Junior high school number 4 is my next step, for this time my dad give me full authority to choose any school that I want, so I choose the favorite school at my province, and I handle all of the requirement and do all selection process. In this place I learn how to socialize, make friends, be a leader. And I like to lead community on the way that I want, to the best way, and I know that I really like to be a leader. Next school is Senior High School number 2, that is the best school at my region. This is the place where I grow up much soft skill, like speaking at the public place, fast think and fast response, influence people, be a leader, smart study way, writing skill and much more. I already use my time effectively this time and I get the best result too. “We’re going where? For how long? But why?” I said. It was the summer before seventh grade when my mom told me that we would be going a trip.
My most importat goals is to improve my English in every single thing. My long term goals are to go apply to universities again and this tie do everything possible to go off. Another long term goal is to become a professor in Spanish or history and teach to students with low income like in Africa or Mexico. Elementary school was a place where I thought I could be me without any problems. Younger me was a bright, colorful and cheerful child. I enjoyed drawing, wearing vibrant colors, and making outfits for myself. But I also enjoyed singing so I joined the choir. That was my dream, to become a singer.

As long as I can remember, I knew that college was going to be part of my future. That is because I always knew what my family expected out of me. College is not only important to me for the reason of making my parents proud, but for making sure that I create more out of myself, as well. With a higher education, I will have more job opportunities available, potentially be able to earn higher income, and obtain more useful life skills than somebody who does not have a college education. To begin, having a college education under my belt is important to me because I will have more opportunities for a job, after I complete my four years.
Is college worth it? Does it teach us actual skills or is it more about paying to have a piece of paper certifying our degree so we could get in the workforce? In their research paper “Should Everyone Go to College”, Stephanie Owen and Isabel Sawhill try to answer these same questions through graphs and data taken throughout the years. They find that on average college graduates make significantly money over the years than the ones who did not pursue an education after high school. Another example that they provide through their analysis would be of someone working in a STEM job having acquired only a high school diploma can expect to make more money over a lifetime than someone with a bachelor’s degree working in education or personal services.
At a very young age I have decided what I would be doing with my life. The most perfect plan was tread in my head. The main goal was set my education as priority, focus in studying the most and the fast that I could. That also means not getting married or having children until I finish my education. By 16 birthday I had already finished high school, at 18 obtained an associated in fashion design.
Attending college wasn’t an obligation of mine but a choice that I took. My reasons are probably just like everyone else’s at my age. I wanted a better life for myself in the future that didn’t involve living paycheck by paycheck. Obtaining a college degree has such a strong influence on one’s life. College has been a dream of mine since I was little.

A country surrounded by great powers such as Japan, China, and Russia, Korea was often occupied by foreigners. Because of it’s geographical location, numerous countries wished to occupy Korea. The country was not particularly strong before the split, and therefore resulted in it being a common target for countries that wished to expand territories or spread political ideas. In 1910, Japan began to invade Korea to colonize and resulted in a mass of cultural, economic, and political destruction.

The high school that I was in gave me an interesting experience. I was able to learn and experience different lessons with in my high school. Three of those life lessons that I went through are when my school was placed on lockdown, another experience is a club that I joined which helped really mature. Finally the other experience I faced in high school was that some of my friends that I had wanted me to join them in some bad situations but I kept myself out of those situations.
I wish to attend the GERI Summer Residential for multiple reasons, including the experience I will earn in my area of interest, the challenge I will receive, the relationships I will make, and information I will learn. I have always been interested in taking all opportunities I can to separate myself from everyone else. I wish to achieve and be the best person I can be academically. Foremost, I work extremely hard in class maintaining a solid GPA of 4.0.
When talk about Korea, no one who does not know Korea. People known that Korea is a modern country that had a fast growing economy, and had a top education ranking. I have known Korea through the spread of Korean culture. Nowadays, in Thailand, Korean culture has a role in the everyday lives of people. The question that arises now is “Why Korea?”
Studying abroad more excellent than studying in Kuwait No one can deny that studying abroad is extraordinarily useful for students. Studying abroad helps students to achieve a higher level of education in plenty of fields that might not be available in their country. It also helps them to learn a plethora of material and gain experience in their life.
