People today think that boarding schools are better than conventional schools. When it comes to making decisions to choose one of them, they carefully think whether the cost of sending students to a boarding school for a better education is worth it. In conventional schools, students can find a variety of people to communicate with. It is a duty for students to attend in a conventional school if not enrolling in another school. He or she cannot choose what conventional school to go to, while students have many boarding schools to choose. It is not an easy decision to make, and there are many factors to consider such as curriculum, class size, the graduation rate, and cost. A number of parents are skeptical in whether the money is worth the education or not. The government investment on conventional schools is increasing every year. Federal governments also offer more funds and this is the reason rich areas such as Gangnam have much better conventional schools than other areas. In less rich areas such as Kyunggi, many parents are looking forward in sending their child to boarding schools because they don’t trust the education in conventional schools near them. Clearly, boarding schools teach better education and morals than conventional school. Both schools charge fees for school uniforms, lunch, and extra curriculum activities. Tuition for boarding schools is high as 12 million won per year or cheap as conventional schools if corporations and religious organizations support them. For me, attending in a boarding school was the best decision I’ve made. I got a good education during the past 3 years, and learned things that I couldn’t have learned from a conventional school. Some people might think that conventional schools educates no worse than conventional schools, there are still lots of other advantages conventional schools can’t give.
