In the article How Social Isolation Is Killing Us, Khullar states that those who feel less socially connected suffer from disrupted sleep, altered immune systems, and higher stress levels. Being alone for too long could lead to depression. Isolation can also lead to the feeling that one has no support, this is seen in Victor because he doesn't tell anyone about the monster that he created because he feels that everybody would shun him for it. Due to the isolation of Victor being focused on creating his monster, his mental state deteriorated which is seen by his reaction when Henry goes to visit him. Henry's visit is needed because after the years of isolation, he needed something to remind him of home and to forget about the monster that ran through his head. Victor was inspired to create the monster because of his isolation and love for science, and then when the monster was created he had no one to criticize him but him so he only noticed the bad things. Victor's creation, on the other hand, is innocent when he is born, like a baby. He needs to experience the world and figure out how to function in it on his own. He's isolated and only has his creator Victor to blame for not teaching him how to function in
Recluse is a person who lives a solitary life and tends to avoid other people. As seen in “… Arthur Radley- what reasonable recluse wants children peeping through his shutters, delivering greetings on the end of a fishing-pole, wandering in his collards ag night?”(324). I may say myself that people recluse themselves to avoid the drama of the outside world. Peculiar is strange or odd; unusual.
Isolation makes the novel what it is because of isolation everything happens. “Being isolated from one's problems can drive anyone to live a sad and depressing life” and it is true. If Ethan wouldn't have been isolated from many things he would have lived a happy

To clarify on the topic of emotional isolation, it is a form of mental individuality. One does not need to be physically alone to experience emotional isolation, which is portrayed by Robert Walton. From the beginning of the novel, it takes place on a ship with Robert Walton and his crew with a ship to the Arctic Ocean. Although Walton is physically with other men, he mentally isolates himself from them mainly due to the fact that he thinks he is more intelligent than his companions and his crew would not understand the meanings of his voyage and journey. Due to the fact that he is well educated and his mates are not, it sets a barrier and in his mindset he states that “But I have one want which I have never yet been able to satisfy, and the absence of the object of which I now feel as a most severe evil.

Similar to most sasquatches, I grew up in the depths of the forest with my parents, eating berries and drinking from the streams. My mother and father cared for me deeply, and always taught me to be on guard for humans. As a child, I did not know what humans were, for I never saw one, but I was always paranoid that a human would come and steal all of what was ours. When I became of age my father showed me how to hunt, so that I could feed myself when necessary. Every chance we got, my father and I would go hunting, so that we could have meat to sustain us.
The Monster and Exile Every person in life is created with a strong sense of belonging. Whether the belonging is to a person, a place, or a moment in time, they still feel connected and influenced by it. Exile is an action that separates a person from this connected belonging, and can suffer great consequences, but can also enrich their lifestyle. In Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley, the creature creaked by Victor Frankenstein is forced, from the very beginning of his existence, away from his creator and society as a whole. This type of exile turned the creature into what he is, shaping his ideas and mentalities.
Isolation: Cause and Effect Dalai Lama once said, “Too much self-centered attitude, you see, brings, you see, isolation. Result: loneliness, fear, anger. The extreme self-centered attitude is the source of suffering.” Both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth show this because their greed, ambition, and guilt lead them down the path of isolation and ultimately, there downfall. Take Victor Frankenstein for example. He yearns for solitude upon that it is where he is able to further his extensive research and focus on his obsession with creating life. Even after his creation of the Monster, Victor still conspicuously chooses to seclude himself from society and his betrothed, Elizabeth, because he finds comfort in his isolation from the world. The Monster, however, finds isolation from society to be miserable; he will give anything to for a fragment of acceptance into society and even more importantly, for his creator to accept him. “I am thy creature; I ought to be thy Adam, but I am rather the fallen angel, whom thou drivest from joy for no misdeed.
