Words said by The 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln,” America will

never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedom, it will be because we

destroyed ourselves”. He was the one who made United States a peaceful country. The United

States was free from colony on the 4th of July where they called as Independence Day. Talk about

United States, in the mind of every people there must be baseball, a bald eagle and their

president. Those are what United States are about or proud of.

Baseball is a bat­and ball game, sport known as the national pastime of the United States.

It derives its name from the four bases that form a diamond around pitcher’s mound. The

The bald eagle is the national bird of United States of America and symbolizes freedom. Besides

freedom, it also means long life, great strength and majestic look. It was also believed to exist

only on this continent.

In this 21st century, Barack Obama is the 44th president of the United States. There are

other United States president such as George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Abraham

Lincoln was one of the famous presidents in United States. He was the 16th president of the

United States. He was also a lawyer before.

Serving from March 1861 until April 1865, Lincoln led the United States through its civil

war which could be describe as bloodiest war and greatest moral, constitutional, and politic

crisis. As a president, he preserved the Union, abolished slavery, strengthened the federal

government and modernized the economy. By the 1970s, Lincoln had become a hero to political

conservatives for his intense nationalism and support for business.
