Clevelands proximity to the waterways of the great lakes, canals, and railroads allowed them access to the raw materials needed to manufacture steel products. St Louis similarly benefitted from being located on the western bank of the Mississippi River.

Then, walk from Stockton Street to Columbus Avenue observing the urban landscape, Union Square, Stockton Street Tunnel, Chinatown and Little Italy.
If you want the same department store feel, Fortnum & Masons is much more accessible. It has the same feel to it, but with less crowding and unique-to-Britain products. The bottom level is produce, the middle has home décor and the top has lingerie, with various other categories interspersed in between (and not to mention a delicious old-time ice cream parlor). The same can be said of other countries. Avoid the mall-type venues; they 're nothing more than bigger, more hyped up versions of our American

Eleanor was a powerful and wealthy woman in Western Europe during the middle ages she married twice and had a total of 10 kids. To become a queen in the middle ages she had to acquire it through marriage or less commonly inheritance.

But, living in a multicultural city is by itself a very beneficial exercise not only on a personal level but also in terms of cultural exchange, economic exchange and generating new ideas. One experiences what is called cultural variety when living in a diverse area.
