Russell Westbrook is an iconic player in the NBA. He plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder and his position is point guard. He has won the MVP award twice and is a 7x all star player. Westbrook also has many nicknames. He is known as “The Brodie” and “Russ”. With all of this popularity and skill, how is he not one of the best all around players in the NBA? Well, Russell Westbrook is the best all around player in the NBA because of his stats, his mentality to never quit, and his fashion.

To start, Russell Westbrook is the best all around player in the NBA because of his stats. Westbrook averaged a triple-double two straight years in a row and he also holds the record for most triple-doubles in a year, which is 42. Only one player is even close to Westbrook and that is the past record holder, Oscar Robertson, who had 41 triple-doubles in a season. Westbrook shows off the love he has for fashion by wearing different pregame outfits every time he walks into the arena. One of Westbrook’s most iconic outfits was when Westbrook played against Kevin Durant and the Warriors, he wore a white t-shirt, white pants with a black bandana, and an orange vest that had the words “official photographer” on it. He has worn many different styles of clothing like wearing a white hoodie with a plaid shirt over it, mixed in with a white hat and black jeans. To really put a statement out in the playoffs, he wore a white shirt with white pants, a blue jean jacket and added in some sunglasses.
