In the article “Excessive Homework Strains Family Life”, the author starts by writing about what students are missing out on due to homework; one topic she mentioned was exercise: “Kids who don 't have time for play and recreational activities, such as softball teams or dance, just don 't get to move around a lot—and there is evidence that exercise actually helps with academics” (Ponte n.pg.). Homework takes an exponential toll on students, which causes some to forfeit their sports in order to finish their assignments on time. In addition to losing the time for physical activity, being on sports teams allows children to learn social skills and meet new people. Instead, they are spending time by themselves completing their interminable homework assignments. Furthermore, in the article “Parents Should Take Action Against Excessive Homework”, Nancy Kalish continues writing about the inadequate amount of physical activity had by students and states that too much homework causes kids to miss out on playtime which is necessary for preventing childhood obesity (Kalish n.pg.).

They often feel rushed in teaching all the required information in one school year because of the time spent reviewing forgotten information (Priddy). Teachers are also pressured to cover certain lessons and topic for each grade. With time spent reviewing lost information they feel rushed to catch up and meet the requirements. Students are stressed during the school year because they have too few breaks. Stress from school can lead students to a lack of motivation.
Many of us suffer from facing too much homework to complete and not enough time to relax and enjoy life. I experienced this feeling for 4 years now, yet I still feel more stress throughout the years. Furthermore, in college doing homework is the most important things that college students need to do at home, because the time in class is very short. The second problem is academic. There are a lot college students failed their course, because they didn 't come to class, didn 't do homework, and didn 't study hard. The last problem is personally. Some students have a learning problem, or they are lazy.
Don’t you like doing homework? Homework is the school assignments that a teacher gives it to their student to work at home. Homework is always a controversial topic over the years that homework is necessary or unnecessary for students. Most of the teachers think homework is helpful for the students such as homework is great for students’ brain, improving confident in students’ independent thinking, and gain more responsibilities of the students. (2d) Some strategies I employed to monitor student behavior is group alerting, and calling out students. During this lesson, students were increasingly antsy because it was their ‘indoor recess time’, and were not ready to sit through another lesson, so students were more out of hand then usual. As a teacher who was taking the students’ indoor recess to teach, I let more misbehavior happen because I understood that students needed a break from learning. 9. Children everyday struggle with lessons they learn in school. Most students do not receive help because they are too scared to ask because they do no want to feel like they are not as smart as their peers. Throughout high school I have helped neighborhood kids with their homework and if they need extra help outside the class. Through college, I would like to proceed to do the same thing gaining most of my hours as a volunteer tutor with kids of all ages. State testing is a stressful situation with most kids.
The anxiety I was presenting was rooted from the amount of school work I had due within the next week, which I was finding hard to do because I was not thinking clearly at all. The stress came from a combination of things, it came from me not getting my school work done, it came from me thinking I won’t have enough money to pay for my monthly bills, and finally it also came from me having to work, go to school and manage to get school work done. The behaviors that I seen being displayed by the friend I was talking to was a lot of helpfulness, kindness, and supportiveness.The Resolution
