As I complete the petal on the Flower Diagram in chapter 7, I was able to comprehend my interests and how I can be able transfer some of my favorable skills to my field of interest of future career. By doing it so, helped me realize how my skills can be beneficial even in other fields. This is still a challenge for me to find what my favorite knowledge or field of interest, but I was able to come up with some of my favorite field and knowledge. There are few places I am interested in such as social worker, Immigration and social justice, international refugee resettlement, travel, musician and software engineer. These five however, I don’t think they conclude my list, but they are somewhat relating to me. Working as a team mean being loyal to the group and helping one another. This is good because it strength my leadership skills. I can see myself doing good as a team member. At my work, I am an easy person to approach which I believe is a good thing when we talk about teamwork. One of the reason why I am a teamwork is that I want to make other feel appreciated for their work. Bringing smiles to other people’s face is what makes my job more enjoyable. I have a sense of humor. This is what I need to work as a caseworker or to fulfil my dream. Giving someone something to smile for meant a lot for me. I practice this in my everyday life through my work with coworkers. Prudence is to do thing with an extra attention to it. I don’t like regretting for my choice and what I do, so the only way to make that happen, I have to be careful more in everything I do. Curiosity is the willing of knowing the extra stuff. I always want to learn how things are working and how I can make them even better. Exploring and discovering other resources is described as management and ownership mindset. As I read the details of all those three, I found that they all have one thing common. Working hard is the key for all three. Being a leader means to take risks and the role to work hard as the owner. Owners hates to fail and even when they fail, they don’t quit they challenge themselves to work better for next time. I am currently doing music and thinking of using it in a positive way to educate people. I am a social activist musician, which is different than just being a musician. The reason why artistic expression is similar to the other two is that a musician or artistic is basically the owner of his success. Challenging to do better is in the mind of any artist who work to do better. With the score of 80 in ownership, is that everything I do, I tend to do better when I put ownership on my shoulder. Always want more out of something is what ownership stands for. It put a person on an everyday challenge to do better. I can see myself in my everyday work. I remember that at my work I always ask my supervisor more work to do. Now that we have a reduction in refugee arrivals, it is a challenge for the department because we don’t have that many things to do and I don’t like to sit not doing something.
