As a professional, it is my personal responsibility to help cultivate the community that they live in. Children are the future and I believe that interventions and social programs will award all children the best opportunity to flourish. My personal experiences in aiding the vulnerable population have served as a basis for growth and preparation. It has been shown evident in my life
I don’t think I would be where I am in life without them. I can depend on anyone in my family to protect me and encourage me to achieve; I didn’t know I could do without them. I’m so thankful that I was raised to be the person I am today because I am a confident, educated, beautiful person. My parents have taught me so many personal aspects in life. I hope everyones parents are as great and supportive as mine.
For not everyone gets to here at home that they can do anything or all the opportunity that is out there in the world. In all, I can say that service learning has helped to shape me into a person that I am today and continues to makes me a better person. Service to me is a way of life and I can't image my life without service. I feel deeply indebted to the people who took the time to help me to grow into the leader I am today. Now I spend my days trying to give back to my community the way someone did for
Family is very important to me to have at this particular time. They have always been there to help me to get where I am today and where I can be in the future. My family has always encouraged me to complete my goals and dreams and if it takes working more than one job they would do it in an insistent. Other than my family friends have been great for getting support and ideas that can be very beneficial for myself and for them as well. Having my family and friend has been wonderful to have them every step

Professional Philosophy Regarding ECEC Pedagogy: How Learning Happens Zubaida Abubaker My philosophy related to my profession is deeply inspired and rooted in my belief in each child’s potential. I believe that every child is an abled body, and the expectations we attached with them usually leads to a self fulfilling prophecy. If I will believe a child is able, I will work hard to make it possible, but if my expectations are otherwise, the result will prove it too. I have spent a substantial part of my life taking care of children around me as well as my own children. I believe that children are our best teachers who made us aware of our own potentials and vulnerabilities.
They have slowly helped me through it, and this small thing has meant more than they would ever know to me. Building a sense of community, learning aspects about school and life, and being true to yourself are all things one should experience by living in Alice Lloyd. I have had a positive experience overall by experiencing a sense of community and friendships by living in here. I am applying for this scholarship because due to unfortunate circumstance with my family I am in desperate need for financial aid. This scholarship would really help assist with my academic career at the University of
My father does landscaping for a living and my mother is a homestay mom. Leaving behind my extended family and culture and getting used to life in the United States has been one of my biggest obstacles. As I’ve been growing up in this country I have always had a passion to help people. I have always had to see people struggle trying to make it through the day, therefore I have developed a passion to take on responsibilities such as learning to be an independent person and committing myself to help
During my volunteer site I have enjoyed being able o experience multi-subject, I like the fact that these teachers don’t just teacher one subject all day. Before I came to my observation site I had already made a decision that elementary school was best for me because I feel that some older students wouldn’t respect me because of my size. Unlike kindergartners they look up to almost anyone that is older than they are. As a future teacher I have a lot of goals, I want to be able to be good at what I do, but also love teaching students. Another goal is about my teaching being students centered like Jessica Mays classroom.
Wes Moore. The guy that had a lot of obstacles through his life that got him where he is today, but he didn’t do it alone. Just like anyone you need to have a positive influence on your life. It could be anyone teacher, boss, parent, friend. Anyone that drives you to want to succeed and for Wes that was his mother, Joy.
Being selected and serving in The National Honor Society would truly be a honor. Being selected into this program would be important to me because of the opportunities it offers. Every moment is a memorable part of the journey of life. I have always appreciated the value of giving to others because I believe that just being able to lend a hand to others, no matter how trivial it may be, is what makes life worth living. However, my desire to help people started when I began working with children as a teacher’s assistant. It would instill in me a lesson that I would never forget. As my first step at trying something different, in the beginning I was tense, unsure of what to do.
It is a huge responsibility to make sure a child, or sometimes an infant is safe at all times. I am always trying do the right thing, so the child can have someone they can look up to. I am a leader in the sense that I never turn down anyone when they ask for help. I should be accepted into the National Honors Society because giving my service to people, whether it is in school, home, or the community is an extremely important aspect of my everyday
I would be honored to be able to contribute to the National Honor Society if given the chance to take part in such a prestigious organization. Ever since I was in elementary school, I have driven myself to achieve knowledge with all the effort that I could muster. This drive is why I want to be a member of the National Honor Society; I believe that the organization will help to encourage my desire for scholarship by developing my leadership skills. I yearn to have a more positive impact on the people in my life, in my community, and in society in general. I believe that the organization will provide me with a better chance to achieve that goal by presenting me with more opportunities to help out in the school and community.
