A lot of people hate discrimination because of the future and the past of nowadays. Discrimination nowadays means that it is the treatment or consideration of, or making a distinct in favor of or against a person or thing based on the group, class or category to which that person or thing is perceived to belong to rather than on individual merit. Three reasons of what people get and do for discrimination. Those things are people discriminate people get sued, people get in really bad trouble, or last but not least people try and hurt one another.
The first reason why people will get in trouble for discrimination is they will get sued. People do not learn about things before they say them, but some people do not just learn about what the world is all about and how people are and act. Also its bad for the community because it can hurt people’s feelings and it can affect how they live in the community. Another thing is that people sometimes get shot discriminating a skin color or even an object of life. A lot of people don’t like that that’s why they shoot people. What the future will hold for us is discrimination will never change their will probably be more of it in the future then there is now. In the future discrimination holds us that we will never get along anytime soon we also will have more examples of discrimination in the future because there are probably people finding ways right now to use them later. No one should ever like it or like anyone that does it and they should stop it whenever they can. I used to have a friend that was discriminated against and he tried everything that he could to stop that person and when he tried it ended badly that person that was discriminating him and his feelings were hurt badly and he never could do anything about
In Jeff Yang’s concept of discrimination shows that it is distinctly ambiguous. Yang’s article “Harvard Lawsuit Is Not What It Seems” it shows the viewpoint of the story from his perspective along with the opposing side. There are both negative and positive sides to this lawsuit. A piece of literature that reflects on this concept is “I Have a Dream” by Martin Luther King Jr.
Discrimination is a tactic people use to show dominance over a group of people they find inferior. Discrimination invokes fear and distrust in the people it is inflicted on. During World War II, discrimination was the driving force of the fighting. While Hitler was in power, he instilled antisemitic ideas into the mind of his people. This led to the majority of the Jewish population of Europe being put in concentration camps, to be tortured, and or killed.

There are many concepts that underpin discrimination and many theories to draw from this paper will detail and explore the definitions, concepts, and theories such as Stereotyping, Social Identity Theory, and Conflict Theory which are all to the fore in prejudice and discrimination. It will seek to examine current research and suggest strategies based on best practice and evidence to combat discrimination and prejudice within organisations to allow for a healthy productive workforce. Prejudice is an unjustified or incorrect negative attitude in the direction of an individual based exclusively on the individual’s affiliation with a social group, a prejudiced person might not act on their attitude.
The concept of discrimination then leads to the civil rights movement. Whites turned on the African Americans, after the use of slavery, they went full on offensive. Hate crimes started towards them and it was chaos (“Racial”). It seemed like this influence has spread and now people are attacking the minority group.
People feel bad when they are discriminated because they might feel like they don’t fit in. Also they feel like they don’t need to exist anymore. They might even feel left out because of other people always discriminating them. Sometimes tragic stuff like suicides happen because they don’t feel accepted in their own community. For example, sometimes even their own people discriminate them.
It is jumping to judging someone when we do not even know the whole story or what that person has been through. Discrimination has been going on for years now. In “Felon Disenfranchisement Is Anti-Democratic,” Nelson states what felon disenfranchisement is when he says, “felon disenfranchisement is often based on negative assumptions about how someone’s identity, status or past behavior will inform his or her choices in the ballot box. But assumptions about a voter's viewpoint violate First Amendment principles.” Unfortunately this is something that we still see everyday in our society and it needs to come to an end.
Imagine this: you are living in a discriminatory world full of people who do not understand you, and choose to judge you by your differences instead of getting to know you. If you are even the slightest bit different. The slightest distance from ordinary, you are judged. You do not get to fight for them to know you, because as soon as they place stereotypes on you. They decide who you are supposed to be.
Every day people are judged and discriminated on the way they look, color of skin, what their wearing, and were they come from. It is upsetting how the world is today and I don’t think it will ever changed as there is always going to be that one person who is going to judge a person because of their culture,
Discrimination is a social view used to categorize the differences among different population groups based on perception. People can become a victim of prejudice attacks based on their ethnicity, race, and gender. Racism is the common form of discrimination, where certain groups within a target population are devalued. Minority groups are the victim of racism, where they are seen to have inferior social status based on one’s beliefs. Because of racism, people of color and people living in underserved communities do not receive quality resources and fair rights.
Discriminatory attitudes are often deeply embedded and hard to shake. Overcoming prejudice as well as discrimination, requires education, community engagement, dialogue, leadership, laws and policies which reflect and promote the principles of non-discrimination and prejudice. Because it all starts with a belief, then people tend to find information that confirms their belief intensifying their commitment to that very belief, thus strengthening their bias. It includes so many things like race/ethnicity, age, color, region, sex, employment and culture. Language is one of the discrimination types which I am going to describe. It is very important part of every culture, religion or country. It is a way of communication through which we all share our feelings to each other.
