Personal Narrative: How High School Changed My Life

Whenever I was younger, I never realized that school was so important. I was at a stage where I did not care about school and gave up on everything including my grades. Until one day I knew that it was not a good decision and school is very important. Early mornings, and leaving my house for seven hours to sit at school and learn things is kind of crazy. Junior High was never my favorite school. I struggled too much in my eighth-grade classes. I also only had one friend who helped me get through my classes, and today we still talk, we just aren’t as close. High School has changed me, a lot and now I look at school a whole different way, then how I did in Junior High. High school we get more freedom, and we don’t have to worry about getting caught chewing gum, or worrying about following the teachers around whenever we have meetings.
I was 13 years old whenever I found out about the Internet, and ever since I used to be really, really obsessed with it like I couldn’t go anywhere without it. I also used to just listen to music all the time, which I still do that today. Music has always been in my life, and I personally love listening to it. I don’t really have a favorite type, I have a few I like. I’ve always been super shy, and would never really talk to anyone. I have a few people I talk to once in a great while. I couldn 't really decide what I wanted for my birthday, so I chose the tattoo. People say they hurt, no they don’t. When it comes to shots, I absolutely hate them. But whenever it comes to tattoos or piercings they don’t bother me. They only make me nervous, but not really scared of them like I am of shots.
