Imagine a world where kids did not get a choice. That is what is happening with kids and extracurriculars because if they do not like it they are not allowed to quit them even if they do not like it. I choose the no side because they might not like it or it could be too much for them. They might also need to do bigger and more important activities like homework and house cleaning. Let me tell you about it.
If the parent isn't good enough to discipline their kid then they are
Although an innumerable amount of students may disagree, having random locker searches are an exquisite idea. Some parents think that it is an invasion of privacy, other parents feel that it teaches structure. Nobody should be against locker searches, unless they have something to ensconce. The first reason why a multifold of students would like random locker searches to be implemented into their school policy. A multitudinous number of students desire random searches to be performed, because many of them conclude that it would make their school feel exceptionally safer.
Even though, we are surrounded by violence throughout life I feel that when we come to school it should not be something we should have to study on. In my opinion, Tell-Tale Heart is not something I would recommend for middle school because we are easily influenced and not most are mature. Most children are easily inspired and we should try to prevent them from getting exposed to too much violence before they get the wrong
In school, the teachers are focused more on our academics than our life problems. Although the school does teach us some of the basic life skills that we need, they do not teach us the most important ones that revolve around our lives every single day. “Though high school and college are excellent in
But on the other hand, it may make kids like sports for the trophy, not the sport, and they will eventually realise that they don’t actually like sports and that may lower their confidence and self-esteem. Additionally, to stop kids from liking sports just because of the trophy, not for the actual sport and it doesn’t help and to help them prepare for life in the real world, kids should not get trophies for participation. You may not have a kid or kid in sports but it is still important to teach yourself and others how to earn your achievements, not to get them handed to
When considering the choice of whether or not students should get paid for good grades, the choice should definitely be no, students shouldn’t get paid for grades. One reason being that students should want to learn without always thinking they’re going to get money. Another reason is that students are remaining focused on money and not education when it should be the other way around. Though, there are many reasons as to why children shouldn’t get paid for grades. If students and others disregard the topic that children shouldn’t get paid for good grades, it will be their own problem and it can negatively affect a students future due to not having certain life skills and will only end up hurting them in the long run.
Therefore, I disagree with mandatory participation in extracurricular activities. One reason I disagree is because it will limit the things you can do. Like most people after school they go home and spend time with their family. That is going out to eat, talking, or just making jokes. But if you have to do after school activities that you don 't like it will make that time shorter and miserable.
The most common argument against implementing school uniforms are student’s self-expression. School uniforms may limit what a student can or not wear with it, but they still can have their own ways of self-expression. One way is by having a different hairstyle, or include accessories, or by even wearing a different style of shoes. School uniforms are the most appropriate way of students expressing themselves without breaking any dress code rules.
Students should not be required to do volunteer work in communities in order to receive their school diploma. That is saying that the school is forcing them to do volunteer work or else they do not get their diploma. Students should have a choice to volunteer. It does help colleges be interested in them; however, it questions the student’s mind. They think, “ Why is it being forced on me to do this when I already have taken my required classes to earn those credits”.
Honor codes rely on its student body to work, but it 's the student body honor codes are used for. Schools shouldn 't have a set of rules for students that, they want the students themselves to enforce. The schools struggle to enforce such codes and they pass on the burden. They want the students to take on a responsibility they don 't want. Most don 't want to risk telling on another and become a social outcast.
If I were to create a plan to evaluate a program or intervention, the level of IRB review would be expedited. It would be deemed this level, because it would involve minimal risk. The likelihood that the research would cause any more stress than everyday life is very low. I would be conducting programs and interventions in schools. Because children would be involved, I would not qualify for an exemption from an IRB.
Lesson Learned An important lesson that I have learned from this assignment is that at times we don’t know where life will take us. Opportunities will be presented to us and if we are fearful, then we will never know what we can accomplish. Hence the reason why it pays to be surrounded by people who pushes you to face and accept challenges.
Some parents are reacting to an outdated perception that there will be a lack of discipline when students have too much free time, and this lack of discipline will keep them from getting the best possible education. We all know there are only a few kids who are irresponsible in their behavior at Monarch, and it is these students who should not be allowed off campus. An open campus should be an earned privilege based on the student’s maturity and good
Schools that are at a disadvantage are in a bad place because of the fact that not everyone in that school will have the opportunity to vote. With all these factors and facts together, passing the bill will benefit everyone and will help make more efficient decision making process and there will no longer be this divide between the VHSL and the
