When interviewers asked Bennett Omalu what he thought of the movie "Concussion," he responded how he thought that everyone in America should see it because it teaches the truth. Whether people love or hate Omalu, there is no denying the greatness of his discovery. How did Omalu respond to Will Smith Portraying him? He praised Will Smith as a good man whose acting reaffirmed what he believed about the United States while growing up in Nigeria. They make the impossible possible. Omalu deeply loves the United States with the utmost sincerity.

Will Smith starred in Concussion, but believe it or not, he himself was a football father, and he did not originally want a role in the movie. The film talks about the true story of Dr. Bennet Omalu, the scientist who discovered encephalopathy, a degenerative brain disease that can be found in a lot of football players. As a result of his acting in "Concussion," Variety presented Will Smith with their Creative Impact Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival. Omalu also gave his praise to Smith about how he helped to enlighten the general public about how safer procedures in football should be practice.
