The babies’ “parents”, charged with taking care of such a precious load for 3 weeks, are the 14 years old children from the naughtiest and worst learning class in an all boys school. The boys agree to take on the task as Simon Martin, their colleague and master of bad behaviour, assures that when the experiment ends they will be rewarded by an enormous flour explosion. Unfortunately for them, Simon just misheard a discussion in the teacher’s room.
Charles is a short story written by Shirley Jackson first published in 1948. Being a great example of dramatic irony, it tells the story of Laurie and his first few weeks of Kindergarten. Upon coming home from school on his first day, he recounts the tales of a poorly behaved boy named Charles who yelled at teachers and got spanked as a result. Every day, Laurie will recount similar tales to his parents of the misbehaving boy named Charles. At the PTA meeting however Laurie’s parents are surprised to not hear a single utterance of this Charles boy.

Every year, more than 3.5 million children under the age 14 need treatment for sports injuries, with nearly half of all sports injuries for middle and high school students caused by overuse(Inetwork, 2017). It is getting to a point where the kids are not even having fun when they are playing sports, they are just playing it to win.

APUSH was a class that I had originally taken because my parents simply did not think I could do it. So I took the hardest class in the school. But I didn’t learn just history. I got more out of that class than I have ever gotten out of my high school career.
