The gang was created for a group of friends to share a brotherhood with and hangout and skate. It was never meant to be the way it is today but it just happens that is the way that it panned out. The creator of MS-13 isn 't in the gang today because that is not why he started the gang so he wants no parts in it at all. When you watched the movie and saw how fast and how far the gang spread it makes you think. A good term for this is Demography, the scientific study of population size, composition, and distribution as well as patterns of change in those features.
Stephen Curry is an NBA player who plays for the Golden State Warriors. At 28 years of age, he is the best shooter in NBA history. Aside from his successful career, he is an advocate of a nonprofit organization called Nothing But Nets, which donates bed nets to families in Africa to prevent malaria. Malaria is a disease by a blood parasite called plasmodium, which is transmitted by mosquitos. Stephen Curry is an upstander because he goes out of his way to help others in need, even though his fame in basketball he always puts time aside to help out others.
I knew he would win. When Chris demolished Mike Barbour in the swimming competition, he demonstrated what I already knew: a cognitive disability does not limit one’s athletic ability. After all, Mike Barbour’s athletic skill is irrelevant when it comes to swimming. “If you’re going to be a swimmer you gotta swim” (Crutcher 260). I think it’s important to note that before Chris was on the swim team, I didn’t know much about him besides that he had a mental disability and that his late brother was destined for athletic greatness.
We argued whether the offensive player could dribble the ball again after the defender touches the ball. His logical fallacy was that he knew the rules at basketball better than I did due to his racial identity. He is, however, incorrect about the rules of basketball. For some reason all the teachers at that school were Caucasian. The teachers had mediocre expectations and hardly pushed the students for success.
Today was the first basketball game of the season, and Hayden felt really good about this game he came out ready to play, and knew all the plays. They were playing Indiana Hoosiers, and everyone was saying that Hayden didn 't deserve to be on the college team he was on, but he just let it go and didn 't let them get to his head, so Hayden kept a positive attitude and played his hardest. Hayden didn 't really get the play he was on the team because he was good and because of his height. It was the last quarter and Hayden 's team had the ball so Lebron Jeffreys had the ball and Lebron went to pass to Hayden. Hayden was wide open because the defense went and trapped Lebron so Lebron threw it to Hayden and Hayden SLAMMED DUNKED it!
No one is allowed to have friends or show attraction to someone else because that would mean that they preferred a certain person over their brothers, therefore showing that not everyone is truly equal. The people of Anthem are also not allowed to choose their jobs or even state that they prefer something. Having a preference in this city was seen and taught as if it was
The court system had to decide if Pap should have custody of Huck again or not. The books show readers that the court system presented in the book really did not care whether the parent (in this case Pap) was working to support that child or the role they play in the child’s life. For example, Pap was alcoholic, he had never been fatherly to Huck as he grew up, he didn’t have a job, and he didn’t even live with Huck. The judge really did not care about Huck’s safety at all when he granted full custody to Pap. The judge chose to do this just because he was Huck’s biological dad.
Paul and Farouk have something to hide, but each keeps their secret for different reasons. First, Farouk was hiding his identity because Sang did not know any friends or family relating to him. Also, he never wanted to spend time with her housemate as the author says, “ He never said hello or good bye; instead, he behaved as if Sang was the sole occupant of the house. They never sat in the living room, or in the kitchen” (186). That clears show how he does not want to be known.
There was no light show, no screaming fans, and no mascot; there was just a few “Go Knicks” barely heard coming from somewhere as if from out of space, or just a few people with weak voices, afraid to be heard. The players didn’t yell to the crowd, or wave fists in the air, or even seem to be excited about the game. They seemed to appear as over worked construction men called in on their day
Fitness and Pickleball Reflection One of the units for this semester was pickleball. in the beginning of the unit I saw no use of this sport. It was not considered an olympic or a paralympic which meant that this particular sport is not taken seriously and it does not have a huge impact on the sports world. I had issues with serving since it is the opposite of tennis and I thought that pickleball was an alternative to it. I would always serve above my head which was not ideal.
Obviously these aren’t ideal recovery conditions for a man who’s had back surgery a few months prior. Jack served in the pacific, and as he served he began to realize how pointless the war seemed. He said that the pacific theater was “just God damned hot stinking corners of small islands in a group of in a group of islands in a part of the ocean we all hope never to see again” (100). One night, Jack became a hero. Since the PT boats that didn’t fire torpedoes also didn’t have radar, it was difficult for them to find each other.
Elijah was frustrated about their dilemma, but alas he couldn’t do anything he wasn’t a great farmer, he wasn’t even a farmer at all so no money would come from his efforts. Bette would insist they try to raise money by selling household items or consider retrying farming, but it would only anger Elijah.
that boy wasn’t getting involved in no sports. Not after what they did to me in sports”(Wilson 1854). So, this shows how Troy created this belief that black people cannot play professional sports simply because they are black. Also, Troy believes that even if you are black and you do well in professionals that you will still no get very many chances to play in the game. For example, Cory argues with Troy that “They got some white guys on the team that don’t play every day”(Wilson 1852) but, Troy argues back saying “That’s why I don’t want you to get all tied up in them sports.
