The challenges in education sector included the lacking of capable, qualified and coadjutant of workforce; poor and bad planning in school; ineffective leadership and lacking of facilities.
There is a suggestion from us in order to overcome the mentioned challenges which is workforce development. Workforce development describe a wide range of activities, policies and programs employed to create, sustain and retain a viable workforce that can support current and future business and industry (Lyn E. Haralson, 2010). Education institution should first start with improving recruitment and selection process. Organization is suggested to improve TQM by plan carefully. The pre-planning stage of developing the right attitude and level of awareness is crucial to achieving success in a quality improvement program (Oakland, 1989). Organization that plan to use TQM should aware of the need to spend money and time for planning. Management team should take a sufficient period of time to pan the project thoroughly and recruit an effective project team. Prevention- oriented management can significantly improve the quality of the goods or services offered by an organization (Ratesh, 2012).
A workforce is often unwilling to embrace TQM for a variety of reasons. First, manager should ensure employee have a clear understanding about the organization’s objective towards TQM. To solve the challenges in human resources barriers, we suggest organization to improve the employee engagement with the organization. High level of employee engagement will ensure employee to trust, accept and understand the management’s action. TQM requires a well-educated workforce. Employee have to acquire sufficient amount of knowledge in order to effectively implement TQM. Training should be provide to all level of employee. Training should be include deep level of technical skill, communication skills, team management skill and problem-solving skill. …show more content…

A TQM will only be success if top management pay a full commitment for it. Organization should provide compensation that will satisfy top manager needs and work promotion opportunity that will encourage them to put a high level of attention and commitment towards the project. The effective compensation given will be stock. Boards can offer the opportunity for top manager to become substantial owners of company stock. This action will put them the organization benefits and top manager’s benefits in the same line and encourage them to work towards both organization and their own
