My Worst Day

The worst day of my life was April 5, 2009 twenty days before my birthday. It was a gloomy chilly day me and my uncle my hero just got out of intercession night at church. Intercession night is basically a night where you pray not only for yourself but for others across the nation. As me and my uncle was driving home at three in the morning a car speeding on the wrong lane hit us so hard our car flipped over. I remember seeing the terminal at the corner and a lot of people surrounding us. My uncle started to talk to me saying, “Britt-Britt are you okay? Talk to me B tell me your okay hold on B God’s got us.” I remember him saying, “I love you so much my princess Britt Britt todo va estar bien,” meaning everything will be okay. The cops showed up in my room saying, “I know this is a hard time but I wanted to know if I can speak to you all.” At that moment I didn't want to be around anyone speak to anyone besides my hero my uncle but I responded saying yes anyways. As the cop started asking me question about the accident I remember hearing him saying they caught the guy who hit us. Right at that moment I wanted to say I want to see him I want to know why did he do that but instead I said to the officer “I forgive him whoever he is because I know God forgives him.” As the officer kept talking he handed me a green teddy bear with a card by it side saying, “Hey B this is your hero I just want you to know I love you so much and this teddy bear is for you I bought it green because that's my favorite color but I know you love teddy bears so keep him close because when he is near I will be near. Love your hero your uncle Jose Nunez.” After the officer gave me the card and teddy bear he said we found this in the remaining of the car.
