Al-Anon is a world-wide fellowship 12 steps program and the counterpart to Alcoholics Anonymous that was found in 1951; Al-Anon states that they are not affiliated nor: “Al-Anon is allied with any sect, denomination, political party organization, or institution; does not engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any cause. There are no dues for membership. Al-Anon is self-supporting through its own voluntary contributions.
