Once in the future the human civilization had been in a war fighting for land they so desperately needed. They were in the new world of Xen they had discovered 5 years before the war. It was unique because it was perfect planet to live on for humans and it had a living species, living on it. The Earth’s population had become too huge to live on earth. They needed a new place to live immediately. They set up a civilization to go live on the planet. Once they had landed on the planet, there were complications. The humans tried to set up a place to live and take the species homes. So they reacted in all out warfare. The humans little civilization came to an end in a moment's notice. They knew they were going to be in a dogfight, and they were ready to start the fight.
“Captain Bruce,” yelled Sergeant Johnny. “You ready to start protocol 7”. “Mission is ago”, said Captain Bruce.

The fire team had luckily got the heavy machinery set up to start taking out the aliens in hoards. The humans reacted quick and shot the heavy weapons at the aliens. A huge tank was coming right through the camp, destroying everything in it’s path. Lasers flying by the Lieutenant and the Sergeant. They both got up and shoot a couple of the aliens. They both saw the alien tank coming right in front of them. They both threw their grenades under the floating tank and ran back further into the half destroyed camp. More of the aliens were coming with their bigger tanks and they began firing all the ammunition from their RPG’s at the tanks. The RPGs did a lot of damage to the remaining aliens. The field was as empty before anything had happened. Now it is full of blood and destroyed vehicles from the battle. It was a terrible sight to see. From the radio’s the humans had heard a lot of the other fire teams had gotten attacked and most had lost. It was a very terrible situation for the humans and they had a lot to fight for to end this war.
Bruce said, “the next attack is going to be the end, we need to regroup with the remaining fireteams to finish the
Throughout a majority of the day, all four elements were within sight of each other and able to provide mutual support. Reno’s battalion was ordered to chase about 60 warriors, with support from Custer’s battalion, which had been spotted around 1415 . Shortly after Reno found and charged the camp he realized that it was much larger than he expected and brought his entire battalion on line for the assault. About 400 yards from contact, the battalion was halted when warriors began rushing to counter attack. A skirmish line to fire on the camp was formed and shortly after, Reno feared encirclement and ordered a withdrawal to the nearby wooded area.
Frantically punching buttons, he raised his right arm exposing a rocket fueled dart, aimed it at the estimated point of interest and fired. The sounds of a squealing mutt could be auricularly discerned; the explosion coerced a third shistavanen to reveal his location. Instinctively sensing hazard, the scout lowered his posture and rolled away from the tree as another laser boomerang perforated the area he once leaned on. He hit another button mid roll, landing on one knee he raised his other hand and shot out a thin laser beam striking one of his pursuers in the chest. Igniting his jet pack, he soared rearwards at a 90 degree angle gaining distance between him and three wolf men.
At 3:15 that afternoon they arrived and less than half an hour later the Viet Cong attacked in force. In which the battle estimated 108 Australians and new Zealanders were facing 1,500 to 2,500 Viet Cong and North Vietnamese forces, that took place over an area no bigger than two football fields. Only the rapid response of a New Zealand artillery battery to desperate calls for backing saved D company from obliteration. The weather conditions were intense in a amid monsoon storm that estimated 400,000 rounds of ammunition were shot from both sides which is an average of over 1,000 shots a minute for hours on end. In which the attack lasted just three and half hours that was relentlessly powerful battle for the men
First, war even outside the battlefield spreads destruction. One of the victim’s neighbors was forced by the city to demolish his home to make way for wider fire lanes. The neighbor notes her grief for the neighbor who was “tearing down his home, board by board, at a time when there was so much unavoidable destruction” (1040). If it hadn’t
Indigenous people had let the travelers inhabit their lands and they ended up turning their backs on them. They decided they liked being in charge instead of just being a normal visitor and they took over the lands and people. During these times, the world was suffering from pollution and people were losing the ability to
Unaware that the ladders were not in place for his unit, General Pakenham sent his troops forward. As General Jackson saw the British Forces approaching their lines, he ordered his men to fire. General Pakenham’s plan was unraveling. The unit that was supposed to breech from the west bank fell short when its leadership was shot dead, causing them to retreat. The forward assaulting unit had no support.
The mission was shrouded in the rhetoric of rescuing American prisoners which might be shot by the Germans during the allied advance. It was also suggested the task force was a feign to make the Germans redirect their forces away from the future axis of advance. However, the true mission of the raid was to rescue General Patton’s son-in-law. Patton’s leadership did not know the raid was happening and the truth was never intended to be revealed to anyone in the Task force but Major Alexander C. Stiller. General Patton sent Major Alexander C. Stiller with the task force under the guise of letting him see a “taste of combat,”29
The Spaniards are invading Mexico, taking away the Mayan empire and their gold. Although, this wasn’t enough, so they explored north of Mexico until they entered what is now the US territory. Upon entering, not much was different, everything was still a desert, but there was life, the Native Americans. Many of which were either
After a while they found us so we ran and just kept running until I saw them starting to shoot so I pulled out a pistol I stole from an SS soldier and started shooting. I was able to injure a few of them I wasn’t really trying to kill them all I was trying to do
They began to shout at the soldiers, daring them to fire. Captain Preston then arrived and tried to get the crowd to disperse. Unfortunately, an object thrown from the crowd struck one of the soldiers, Private Montgomery, and knocked him down. He fired into the crowd. After a few seconds of stunned silence, a number of other soldiers fired into the crowd as well.
Operation Nucflash On the Seahawk helicopter sat Cliff Stewart and the three other men of the Navy’s Special Operation team tasked with disarming dangerous explosives. They were returning from a successful mission and had just touched down on the deck of the USS Patriot when Cliff, the team 's leader received a call. “Lieutenant Stewart,” said a clipped voice, “this is Captain Wilson, Admiral Davidson’s chief of staff.” Cliff was suddenly alert, “Yes, sir.” “The admiral wants to see you in the war room, immediately.”

Imagery in Catcher in the Rye In the novel by J.D. Salingher, The Catcher in the Rye, there are many examples of imagery. Imagery adds to the effect the reader feels while reading the novel: “Imagery is descriptive language to produce mental images. Using imagery is one of the best tools an author can use to engage readers in stories.” (enotes) Holden’s impressions about Stradlater’s walk, the prostitute he hires, and the stage show at Radio City create powerful imagery. While Stradlater goes out on a date with Jane, Holden waits for Stradlater at the dorm.
By evaluating all of the variables in the equation, such as his initial location, the direction of travel, his skill level, and his current health condition, we were able to create an effective search and rescue style plan to locate this Scout. In addition to locating this Scout, our other objective was to also ensure all other teams were accounted for and in safe condition. Shortly after we began the execution phase of our developed plan, the Scout found his way to our headquarters, and the medical staff were able to treat him for his injury. Although I organized the Outpost Challenge phase of this training course, I was not directly responsible for watching over the participants at their outpost camps.
