Abstract:
Yoga and Meditation is a system of physical and mental discipline which originated in India long ago. The word is linked to meditative practices in both. Yoga and Meditation has beneficial results in treating many diseases like diabetes, asthma, hypertension, obesity, etc. Yoga also helps maintain one’s youth and vitality. Meditation and Yoga exercises help to control, purify and coordinate the nervous system. Doing yoga regularly rids the body of toxins, thereby improving general health. It also rids the mind of impure impulses leading to contentment and inner peace. In modern days’ yoga and meditation when practiced together strengthen the mind body connection, improving overall fitness and well-being. Finally, Yoga and meditation proved good health is universal. The birth place of Yoga may be India, but it is for all, irrespective of religion, gender, nationality and language. It is meant to improve health and spread happiness.

Many sports enthusiasts and athletes are including meditation as part of their workout to improve concentration. Even though meditation has normally been recognized as a spiritual practice, there are also many health benefits one can enjoy. I am here to write to you about a serious issue that has gone on for far too long already. Most likely, you must have heard of the suicide crisis occurring in the community, along with all the suicide attempts happening there, the living conditions and the increasing suicide rates. I am sure that you are aware that this type of issue has happened in the past involving the community of Attawapiskat and that this is not the first time you have seen or heard of Attawapiskat and its issues in the media. This community has been the center of many issues, including the housing crisis, and the suicide crisis and so on.
Jennifer Macmaster who has a master degree is a 26 years old female. She is a secondary school teacher. She spends most of the time at school, so sometimes she feels tired. Thus, she starts to do exercise. Especially, she likes to do yoga because it can make her feel relax.
Another benefit to fibromyalgia patients by doing yoga is focus. Yoga allows the patient to take their time and focus on their poses and movements. “Avoid the common mistakes many people with fibromyalgia make, like not stretching, not exercising, or not sticking to a healthy diet.” (Fibromyalgia for Dummies 60.) The book “Fibromyalgia for Dummies” recommends that fibromyalgia patients should find out what helps them fight their pain the most so that they can decrease their pain levels.
Annotated Bibliography The projected study attempts to design a research that would examine the competence of mindfulness therapy. The design would evaluate the progress of the selected individuals who are receiving mindfulness therapy in comparison to those receiving another kind of therapy over a given period of time. Another study at the U.S. National Institute of Health had participants do yoga every day for eight weeks, and take brain scans before and after. In a perfect world we would all be eating the right food, exercising, sleeping well and just generally enjoying life. In the real world most of us manage a percentage of the healthy lifestyle and muddle through as best we can with the rest of it. Part of the problem is we are encouraged to think, mostly by the media, that we should be doing everything possible towards a healthy lifestyle, all of the time. For most of us this is just not possible.
