YOGA AND MEDITATION IS GOOD HEALTH.

Abstract:
Yoga and Meditation is a system of physical and mental discipline which originated in India long ago. The word is linked to meditative practices in both. Yoga and Meditation has beneficial results in treating many diseases like diabetes, asthma, hypertension, obesity, etc. Yoga also helps maintain one’s youth and vitality. Meditation and Yoga exercises help to control, purify and coordinate the nervous system. Doing yoga regularly rids the body of toxins, thereby improving general health. It also rids the mind of impure impulses leading to contentment and inner peace. In modern days’ yoga and meditation when practiced together strengthen the mind body connection, improving overall fitness and well-being. Finally, Yoga and meditation proved good health is universal. The birth place of Yoga may be India, but it is for all, irrespective of religion, gender, nationality and language. It is meant to improve health and spread happiness.

Many sports enthusiasts and athletes are including meditation as part of their workout to improve concentration. Even though meditation has normally been recognized as a spiritual practice, there are also many health benefits one can enjoy.
