Zachary Thomson is the protagonist in the Novel, Night Runner, written by Max Turner. Zach has lived in the Nicholls Ward of the Peterborough Civic Hospital. Zach is a vampire. His nurse knew about his secret, however Zach didn’t. Zach’s nurse, Nurse Ophellia, knew the secret of vampirisim running through Zach’s veins. Nurse Ophellia thought she was the only one who knew his secret. He was different than everyone else in the Nicholls Ward, he knew it too. In fact, on Pg. 2 it states, ”I’m different. I stay up all night, for one thing. That’s when my life happens.” He started living in the Nicholls ward when his Dad died. Zach was only 8 years old. His mom died when Zach was only 2 years old.
