Zarah Lilith Jackson is not a happy girl right now. She and her friends had saved Artemis, the goddess of hunt from the Titan Stronghold where she was being held under the sky. She even prevented the Titans from getting the Ophiotaurus.
Her reward?
The gods were discussing about how dangerous she was. Just because she was the daughter of Hades. Her friend, Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus was standing next to her. Thalia’s face was completely red.
Zarah did not know if it was because of embarrassment or anger that her father was discussing their execution so casually.
Annabeth Chase had tried to argue with her mother, Athena, the goddess of wisdom but fell short. Zarah shrugged at that, who could argue with the goddess of wisdom?
Her thoughts went to Nico di Angelo next. Her stepbrother. He

Shadows condensed in a corner of the throne room and out stepped Hades, god of the underworld in his black robes filled with souls.
Zarah could hear those souls screaming and it was disorienting. They were pleading or cursing.
The Olympians tensed at the sight of Hades—but he ignored them and looked at Zarah. “Answer them.”
Zarah gulped. “I don’t know what they are—but two of them called themselves Lilith, she looks like a young girl. The other called herself Abaddon, she was riding a horse that was honestly dead—like only bones. She herself had pale skin, blonde hair and black eyes like Lilith.”
As she explained and described the two. Athena’s face went from blank to absolute horror.
The Olympians noticed her horror and went to borderline insane questions about why she was scared of these two. Annabeth Chase too knew about them as she had read about them and she looked at Zarah with horror and fear. Thalia meanwhile had no clue either.
Athena’s voice cracked as she answered. “They’re demons.”
Now everyone’s faces resembled horror and Thalia smiled like it was cool, but there was little fear in her eyes too but she’d stay by her best
She wanted to thank the other one. Disappointed in her current condition, the Fae, 43 in human years but roughly the mentaly capacity of a 12 year old (for Fae live for a very long time) stared at her new and curious looking
She says that he will show his worth by giving him his sword and shield and then put him into battle. Odysseus is also described as brave because he taunts Polyphemus after he escapes and calls him names. “Father Zeus, doesn’t it infuriate you to see this violence? We gods get the worst of it from each other whenever we try to help out men. Why did you have to give birth to that madwoman, your marauding daughter who is always breaking the rules? All the rest of us gods, everyone on Olympus, listens to you. But she can say or do whatever she wants.”
"I know. When I spoke to Michael, he hinted at something similar, and referred to someone called Susannah but didn't go into any details." The smile faded from Tom's lips as his mind strayed to distant memories. "It wasn't my intention to pry," Moira said.
For instance, when Odysseus is threatened, she steps in and tells,”Hold back, men of Ithaka”(Homer.24.531) as she wants the them to stop taking revenge on each other. As Odysseus went through a lot of troubles on his way home, the Goddess Athena
Later on however, she prays for Artemis to kill her and that she would meet Odysseus in the underworld so she could escape the suitors who are longing to marry her and rule Ithaca. She is willing to give up her life because she could not live without her
Athena is a major character throughout the book of The Odyssey and is known as the goddess of wisdom and battle. Throughout the course of the book, it is evident that Athena has a weak spot for the main character, Odysseus. Odysseus is trying to return home after the Trojan War, as the other Greek hero’s have already done, however he faces multiple challenges a long the way. Fortunately, for Odysseus, Athena was there to guide him through a few of these troubling situations.
She is portrayed as the average Greek woman, but in reality is very cunning. Though both these women are two different characters, their roles are similar, and they both are equally powerful. They are cunning; teach Xenia; develop Odysseus’ character; and an important role in their families. Athena is the cunning Goddess who guides Odysseus back to Ithaca for his family and countrymen without letting him know her reality – she disguises herself every now and then to help him by testing him and his knowledge.
In The Odyssey, by Homer, Athena influences the lives of Odysseus and his family. In Greek mythology, gods challenge and control mortals. Gods also provide support to mortals and thus, mortals depend and act on behalf of the gods and their decisions. Athena, daughter of Zeus, is the goddess of wisdom, and both Telemachus and Odysseus benefit from her power. Athena possesses the ability to disguise herself and others, and this skill allows her to give advice and guidance.
The reader also sees this in Book 7 as Odysseus calls out to Athena through a prayer. Odysseus says, “Athena! Hear my prayers at last, for you have never heard me then, when I was shattered… Grant that here among the Phaecian people I many find some mercy and some love!” (7.356-357, 359-360).
She may have been with Troy, and he may have been taking care of her, but definitely not in the way she was explaining it. The thought of his daughter and Troy being together made his stomach turn. Athena tried to reassure him that their daughter was still indeed a virgin. In her words, “A mother always knows.”
When Athena, a goddess, realizes that her weaving competition with Arachne, a mortal, would end in a draw, the text states, “...she tore Arachne’s tapestry from top to bottom and began to beat the girl,” (85). Because Athena has supernatural powers, she should be viewed as a superior being. However, in this story, although Arachne is a mortal, she is able to weave at a comparable level of skill to Athena, a goddess. This causes Athena to feel envious of Arachne’s abilities, and in an effort to weaken Arachne, Athena destroys Arachne’s work and beats her. Athena’s behavior is similar to humans’ behavior when attempting to invalidate and undermine that people they are jealous and envious of.
As they got to the other side Thais and her father, Hades, where standing there waiting on them. Hades said, “Welcome to our land where this is going to be the last thing both of you will see.” holding up Thais’s sword. “We’ll see about that.” Hercules says as he takes out his sword and charges forward towards Hades.
