In Richard Connell’s short story “The Most Dangerous Game”, the character Zaroff is often described as evil. In the short story, Zaroff is a hunter who faces an issues, there is nothing challenging enough that he can hunt and still get a thrill, he needs something more challenging. ‘’ “Why should I not be serious? I am speaking of hunting.”“Hunting? Great guns, General Zaroff, what you speak of is murder.” (10.) ‘’ Here, General Zaroff hints that he is looking for a human to hunt, and Rainsford is disgusted of his idea or becoming a murderer.
