People around the world have huge impacts on audiences; they inspire them in countless ways such as speeches, music, songs, writing or poems. An example of a huge inspiration is the Lebanese composer, pianist, playwright and political commentator, Ziad Rahbani. Ziad is the son of Assi Rahbani and Fairouz who are two of the most beautifully talented people. He was married to Dalal Karam, with whom he got a baby boy who turned out not to be his biological son. Their relationship ended in divorce where Ziad Rahbani composed many songs about their relationship, a few are “Marba El Dalal” and “Bisaraha”. Rahbani then had a public relationship with Carmen Lebbos that lasted for fifteen years. Despite his personal life, he has changed many people’s points of views about several political topics through humor. His compositions are well known and influenced throughout the Arab World. She started her musical life at the age of six and learned to play several instruments including piano and percussion. She has won several gold medals in the Royal Conservatory of Music for percussion. She has also played in numerous concerts and district competitions on both piano and marimba and has won various awards. Ireh is currently studying with Ross Salvosa and enjoys learning from him. In the beginning of the novel The Swallows of Kabul, written by Yasmina Khadra, the audience is introduced to the character of Musarrat, Atiq’s wife. On first impression, she seems to be a lost cause clinging to any sense of normal life she has left; however, at the end of the novel, Musarrat becomes the unsung hero offering a glimmer of hope for the wretched city of Kabul. Through the use of her unconditional love for her husband, Khadra reveals how Musarrat became an image of hope for the audience, a daisy growing in the dump that is Kabul. In chapters eleven through fifteen, Musarrat’s image is opposite of the characters seen throughout the rest of the novel.

There were also many people who listened on television but did not attend the actual event. This would normally affect the speech in making it persuasive based.
