The town of Port Orford could benefit from a new park. At this park I think it would be a cool idea to make separate sections for different types and ages of people. This could give the diversity for a large majority of the community to enjoy together. It would be a nice and fun place for everyone to enjoy and use. For instance for the younger children and pre-teens I would suggest a playground. The things I would include in this playground would be swings, playground structures, and a sandbox

In the Zephyrhills Community there are currently eight parks. All but one, has playground equipment for early childhood, which is up to the age of five. The playground that has the equipment for the younger children is outdated and needs to be restored. As you can see, this is a problem for the community. Especially, for parents, and any caregiver of a child who wishes to take the children out to blow off some steam. It is extremely important to teach children young to play outdoors and for them
love going to the park therefore, I chose my neighborhood park (Wynten Way Park) to observe as a childhood space. The park I chose is a childhood space because it is a place for children to come together and play. Children are able to play with different equipment, can interact with other children and are given the opportunity to explore. This park is a safe space for children, for instance the ground is made from a soft rubber material instead of pavement. The equipment in the park is appropriately

Outside to Play: The Need for the Revitalization of Parks and Recreations In Berks County, has played a pivotal role in the lives of families for generations. There was never a dull moment and it gave me some of my best childhood memories. However, the recent downturn in economics has left many parks and recreations departments feeling a blow to their

Court Square to catch a bus to go home. In her autobiography, “from Rosa Parks: My Story”, Rosa Parks describes the the time when she refused to give up her seat to a white man. She was riding the Cleveland Avenue bus in Montgomery, Alabama when the incident occurred. Rosa Parks’ experience is most similar to both a free bird’s and a caged bird’s, because of the way she felt, acted, and viewed herself. The protagonist, Rosa Parks, felt like a caged bird when she sat in the Cleveland Avenue bus, because

Or what about when you believe you’re steady and stable on your roller coaster ride and think the ride might be over soon. Every summer family goes to Wisconsin dells, we stay at a water park theme park called Mt. Olympus. First year we went, we went over to the theme park to just check it out and see what they had for rides and there are four roller coasters, also has an abundance of go kart tracks. The fight for change and equality was not an easy one. In 1955, a black seamstress named Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man. This landmark of civil disobedience was one of the many demonstrations of the struggle for change and equality. In addition to African Americans, women and immigrants have faced similar hardships for years on end. Many groups have struggled for change and equality from the 1940s to the 1960s. African Americans were one of the many groups to have
I. Good morning everyone. II. “Just keep swimming” Does anyone know where this phrase came from? This catchphrase comes from Dory the blue fish from the movie Finding Nemo. There are endless amount of famous movie quotes that Disney movies have provided that gives a positive message to the society. “Malcom X” is a great movie where Denzel Washington plays the role of Malcom X. Washington did a phenomenal job playing this role. After doing my research on Malcom X in the past, Malcom X once said “I’m for truth, no matter who tells it. I’m for justice, no matter who it’s for or against”. In the speech that I will focus on Malcom X shockingly said he stands for nothing but what he was when he was born; a black man. Malcom X’s address to the people of Harlem grabbed many people’s attention. I believe
