Cozumel , Mexico is an amazing place to visit. My personal experience was so fun! I swam with all kinds of sea life, went paddleboarding and had a great time. Some places I would like to visit when I go back are the Mayan Ruins, Xcaret Park, and Tulum Beach. My favorite part of Mexico was swimming with the dolphins whose skin is very soft and silky. Once I arrive in Mexico I plan on staying at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma. When I get settled in I will go lounge by the pool and take plenty of pictures
The Grand Mayan Vidanta is located in Cancún near Playa del Carmen the flight takes six hours if you are leaving from the Los Angeles airport. It was my first airplane ride and my first trip outside of the United States. At first it felt quite terrifying watching everything become smaller and seeing the sea look bigger. Once we arrived we had to take golf carts in order to get to other locations at our hotel. They make every person where a specific colored bracelet that they must keep on during

For example, the you can visit remnants of Mayan Ruins or see the Mexican culture in all the shops that sold tawdry jewelry in Playa del Carmen. However, the most beautiful sight is the ocean. The white sandy beaches that burn your feet so you need to run to the beautiful blue water that glistens in the sun almost as if it’s calling out to you. All you can do is sit in awe as the waves

When you are traveling abroad there are always things you should do to protect yourself: don’t wear expensive jewelery, don’t go out after dark, don’t carry a lot of cash with you etc. And then there are the guidelines for traveling to specific nations. In South Korea it would be inadvisable to talk badly about any current or former national ruler – it will get you thrown in jail. In the Dominican Republic, it would be in your best interest not to talk about Haiti. But what about Cancun? Are there
The excitement of getting to go home for a whole week was unreal. The countdown to Thanksgiving Break. This was the first time I would be going home and seeing all of my other college friends who were also home. I couldn’t wait to see who has changed and how college was treating everyone. I was looking forward to doing nothing but eat, sleep, shop, and hang out with friends and family. The first thing I did when I got home was go to my favorite restaurant—Glory Days Grill. I got a huge over of
Mexico - May - 2013 Day one. It’s hot and humid and there are free drinks everywhere I turn. Our first day in Playa del Carmen (a coastal resort town in Mexico) is off to a wonderful beginning as I lay on the beach at 11AM with a Pina Colada in my hands. I say “hands” because this drink requires two hands in order to hold the giant margarita fishbowl filled to the rim with this sweet, delicious, boozy beverage. Spending the afternoon getting tipsy on the beach and playing in the warm salty waves
