Ms. Bronson was a distinguished Native American advocate who eventually served as an executive secretary to the National Congress of American Indians.

She was born in Oklahoma and attended Mount Holyoke College, graduating in 1925. She administered the scholarship and loan program for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for 12 years.
