Karen Coody Cooper

Karen Coody Cooper is a museum professional, author, poet, and finger weaver. She received her Masters of Liberal Studies from the University of Oklahoma. Her museum career has focused on “battling stereotypes and misinformation about American Indians,” and she now offers her expertise as a museum consultant. She is co-editor of the 2011 Cherokee Writers from the Flint Hills of Oklahoma.
