Explaination:
The harder the heart works to push the blood ,the greater the force is on the arteries Blood pressure is expressed in terms of millimeter of mercury above the surrounding atmospheric pressure.Blood pressure readings have two numbers i.e top number and bottom number. The top number is called Systolic pressure. The bottom number is called Diastolic pressure. The blood flows through arteries and it delivers all necessary oxygen and nutrients the body needs to be healthy. Such a force occurs throughout the vascular system. [3]
Systemic arterial blood pressure is most commonly called as blood pressure. However, measurement of pressures in the pulmonary vessels and venous system plays an important role in intensive care medicine.Blood pressure is influenced by the heart rate ,the amount of blood pumped by the heart and the ease with which blood travels through the body. The difference between the measured systolic and diastolic pressures is called pulse pressure.

[3] In extreme condition pulse goes weak, urine production decreases and may cause circulatory failure. It also causes kidney failure and strokes. Its symptoms include dizziness chest pain and increased thirst. In this condition smoking should be avoided and protein salt intake should be increased.[4] b) Hypertension: Hypertension stands for high blood pressure.Blood pressure above 140/90 is considered high.Blood flows through arteries at higher than normal pressure.[3]It has no clear symptoms but you may feel headache ,blurred vision and dizziness. It is also called as silent killer. It may be due to kidney disease, stress, hormonal disorder and high salt
1.Congestive Heart Failure also known as (heart failure) is a life threatening condition. Heart Failure is caused when someone has a weak heart. It usually happens when the bodies blood pump to the heart is not pumping blood to the heart correctly.
4.1. Vasovagal Causes. 4.2. Orthostatic hypotension. 4.3.
Damaged heart valves, toxic exposure, such as alcohol, prolonged arrhythmias, and infections are all other causes
High blood pressure normally started in the arteries. There are different stages of high blood pressure, there is stage 1 and stage 2 of high blood pressure. High blood pressure is caused from being overweight, little no exercise, genetics, smoking, family history high blood pressure, salt, alcohol, old age, stress, and the food intake that is the diet. High blood pressure is one of the top that kills African American women each year. High blood pressure mostly affects the ages between 40 through 70 (Kovesdy, Csaba P.; Furth, Susan; Zoccali,
Hypertensive nephropathy advanced stage III, stable since 2010. 2. Myocardial infarction in 1996. 3. Stroke in 1993.
Hg (Lewis, Dirksen, Heitkemper, Bucher, Camera, 2014). Although signs and symptoms of hypertension are not visible, elevated blood pressure is noticed and possible headaches in life threatening situations (Potter, Perry, Stockert, & Hall, 2014). My patient had presented with elevated blood pressure levels, but was controlled with drug therapy throughout the day. Hypertension puts patients at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. Although medications will lower blood pressure, they will not cure it.
Many factors can induce changes in your resting BP. They include stress—emotional and physical stress—(that includes pain from an injury) on the body, which can
The low amount of blood delivered to the kidneys causes inadequate renal perfusion. When this happens, renin is released to secrete aldosterone, a vasoconstrictor that promotes sodium and fluid retention. Aldosterone increases the preload to increase the systolic volume (Moreau, 2006). However, this is counterproductive in the long run because an increase in the preload will wear out the heart by working double time as well as increasing lung congestion. The heart failure causes multiple organ failure in chronic conditions such as altered digestion, decreased brain perfusion
In this regard, cardiovascular response to exercise occurs with changes in heart rate, cardiac output, stroke volume, peripheral vascular resistance and blood pressure/arterial pressure,
Introduction This essay will reflect on my personal experience, skills, and knowledge gained from my studies and practice of undertaking blood pressure (Bp) whilst completing my professional placement. Bp may be defined as a force of blood against vessel walls in the body, consisting of systolic and diastolic pressure measured in millimeters of mercury. (Waugh and Grant, 2016) Systolic pressure occurs when the hearts left ventricle contracts and forces blood into the aorta causing a heightened atrial pressure, while diastolic pressure refers to complete cardiac diastole, this is when the aortic valve closes and pressure is at its lowest between beats, blood moves into smaller corresponding vessels and the heart rests.
I have a scar above my left eyebrow from when I fell from a tree when I was five years old. I landed face-first on a particularly pointy rock. Now, you 're probably thinking, "Where were this kid 's parents?!" Oh, my dad was nearby, sipping on a Corona in a lawn chair (as he does). Once I saw the blood, I bawled my eyes out.
It also results in fibrinoid necrosis in the walls of some efferent glomerular arterioles. In malignant hypertension, ischemic damage to the kidneys may also occur (Weller,
When the blood pressure is high, the heart has to work more to get the blood through your arteries. These then take a beating from having the blood pressured into them, and the danger of a stroke, heart attack, or even kidney troubles then become that much of a greater risk. High blood pressure is a serious disease because it has the heart working much harder. If the heart has to work harder for extended periods, it will become large. If the heart is slightly enlarged, it can and should still work alright, but if it becomes greatly enlarged it won't work alright.
High blood pressure has many effects on the body. It can damage many organs such as your heart, kidneys, brain, and eyes. If it is not controlled, a person can become disable, or have a heart attack and die. With the right medication, and good habits high blood pressure will become more controllable.
Weight Training in Sports The value placed on winning when it comes to sports has increased throughout the years. The ferocious amount of excessive training – as well as the enlarged amount of money being spent in athletics has proven to emphasize the winning mentality instilled in adolescents. The adolescents are exploited due to their potential by sacrificing their well-beings in order to be equal to “the guys in the NFL” (Cole & Paidoussi).
