The book called The Crossing is written by Gary Paulsen with a character named Manny Bustos who is 14 and homeless in a city called Juarez in Mexico, it’s right on the border of the United States and Manny thinks if he crosses life would be way better that it is. He has many ideas of how much better it will be just across the border but most of them are wrong, he doesn 't know that there 's still many homeless in the united states, and not even close to everything being perfect in the United States. Many of Manny’s ideas are inaccurate and wrong, he thinks that everyone will just be there at his aid and that he can get a car at the age of 14, and drive.
