The Jewish Teen Board provides an opportunity for me to give to the community, to learn more about the causes I am passionate about (especially environmental stewardship, feminism and helping those with special needs), and to meet other teens with similar values. When I graduate university, I want a career that is not just a source of income but also is meaningful to me. I discovered by joining my school 's DECA team that I really enjoy learning about business and marketing, and may wish to open a business one day. If I do so, I would want to either start a business affiliated with a non-profit organization. Jewish Teen Board would teach me how non-profit organizations really run, what it 's like to work for a non-profit, and how

Persavsive Paragragh I think Grandview R2 Middle School should have recess. Recess would provide more phyisical activities and exersize for kids, also i think recess provides free time for kids to get away from work for a little bit. The normal time to have recess would be after lunch to let energy befor comming back to class. Also i think recess is a time for kids to let out stress from work that has been put on them. Recess help kids stay active and healthy also it would help kids not sleep in class while doing his or her work.
In 1906 multiple boys clubs in Boston decided to join together and create the organization that sparked a national movement. In 1958 the Boys Club of America was given a congressional charter.
The boys lack a sense of humanity and passion, they are pushed deeper into social exclusion because of the punitive social order among them. Black and Latino males are seen as criminal risks, and as a generation are brought to social and physical
On very little occasions girls got the chance to play with the boys. “For many decades girls’ only real chance to compete would come on occasional “Play Days” with neighboring schools” (57). These were very special to the girls because this was their only chance to be mixed with boys, while playing sports that they loved. This kept giving girls the confidence and sooner or later they would not worry about not being accepted. “No longer would females accept ‘No girls allowed’ attitude” (91).
National Junior Honor Society Essay Being a member of National Junior Honor Society interests me in a number of ways. I believe I excel in all five criteria of NJHS: academics, leadership, service, citizenship, and character, and being a part of this national organization will help me improve much more in each of the categories. I am also interested knowing that having membership in NJHS will help my future career and bring a lasting impression to many people. Scholarship is important in people’s lives; it both helps their futures and encourages them to do more work academic related. I have succeeded in many tasks academically.
The film Boyz N the Hood is a story about life in South Central Los Angeles. The film was wrote and directed by John Singleton in 1991. I chose this movie because of its relevance to the course and how it reflects pop culture in that time period. The opening line in the movie “one out of every twenty-one Black American males will be murdered in their lifetime” really catches the audience attention. This movie goes into detail and shows the life of three young males living in the hood of Los Angeles battling a life surrounded by drugs, violence, and questions of race.
Since the late 1980’s the music industry has seen a development in the phenomena of pop vocal all male groups referred to as ‘boy bands’. These so-called boy bands have proven to be quite the craze for young teenage girls who invest their time creating loyal followings (fan bases) for them by promoting their albums, making signs and waiting in lines for hours just to see them in concert. Each generation has their fair share of successful boy bands. For me, it was *Nsync and for my sister ,it’s One Direction. There hasn’t been a single car journey that passes by without listening to both bands followed by the both of us arguing about which one is better.

Boys' love genre in manga, Japanese comic, encompasses genres such as shounen-ai and yaoi, both of which are based on male homosexual romance though the latter is the more erotic version. While one might expect readers of boys' love manga to be male homosexuals due to its same-sex male romance content, majority of the audience are, in fact, females. Levi (2010, 1) defines boys' love manga as "same-sex male romances and erotica written mostly by and for women", clearly reinforcing the fact that majority of boys' love manga readership is female. Levi further states that "In August 2007, more than 550,000 people, a majority of them young women and teenage girls, attended Tokyo's Comic Market......to buy and/or sell yaoi-themed doujinshi". This
