At the end of the French and Indian war, King George could not take such utter disrespect. The British started to put in new laws and boundaries in place that ultimately would hurt every party that was involved with them. The British had lost a tremendous amount money as well as the French did paying off the money to wartime debt. Lots of Indians lost their lives and had the land taken away from them. The American colonist are the only ones out of the seven year war to come out somewhat unscaled. With England placing taxes on every paper transaction, Sam Adams had finally had enough and “The Stamp Act of 1765" was created. Sam Adams and a hand full of his vocal peers organized resistance in Massachusetts. With Boston being the most defining colony, England inserted extra troops in to the city. Which this only caused more problems because the soldiers we're taking extra jobs and act ill-mannered towards the colonist. That lead to the Boston Massacre of 1770 that left five colonist dead and six wounded. After this Sam Adams started to try to set up a committee of correspondence by getting together other writers from different colonies. The British intended to gain favor with passing the Tea Act in 1773, lowering the prices of the tea but adding a small tax. As Boston remain the focal point of the rebellion it did not sit well with their appointed leaders Sam Adams and Paul Revere. So they organized the Boston Tea Party to show England how serious they could we’re. Left with no harbor until the tea debt was repaid. And the king cracking down on Massachusetts something had to be

Over the course of American history, society has dealt with many flaws, and dilemmas. In Source B, it illustrates that Abigail Adams, John’s wife, wanted the Continental Congress to remember the ladies when they write The Declaration of Independence. They felt that he had too much power and control over them. In response to this, the colonists formed the first Continental Congress to send their complaints to the British king so that he can address them (Pavao). Unfortunately, the British king didn’t respond well, so the colonists met for a second Continental Congress, in which they were more assertive and decided that it was time for a revolutionary war. They chose five men, namely Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Roger Sherman, Benjamin Franklin and Robert Livingston, to draft the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This document stated their reasons for wanting to be freed from the British.
The Declaration of Independence was written many years ago and helped form the constitution, that helped form the state we live in today; so it played a pretty big part in our history and freedom that we honor today. the principals within this document are what gives us as individuals some of our rights that we are born with and no one can take them away, but, unfortunately, the united states government doesn't do a very good job at upholding these principals. the first principal in the decoloration of independence is that all people are created equal, but sometimes the government and people don't respect this principle, such as jail time being longer for black people or not excepting them because of religion color or being gay or giving a
The American Revolution, a war fought between the American Colonies and England was a war of independence and was stemmed from acts of rebellion, eventually leading to violence. While American victory was the birth of our country and freedom, this revolution was hardly revolutionary at all. For many white men, it was a new beginning with many open doors ahead. But those doors would remain shut for women and their rights, Native Americans and African Americans in this new independent country.
After the French and Indian War, the British and the colonists had to face rising tensions and problems resulting from the war. Due to a massive debt from two wars, the British king had to recover as quickly as possible. Since the British considered the war started in the colonies, the blame was placed on the colonists and thus the British became more involved in the colonies. Due to increased economic policies and tyrannic rulership from 1763 to 1783, ideas of American independence changed drastically from wanting fair representation to complete freedom from the crown.
The colonies were sick and tired of the British. During the meeting, the articles of association were created. It basically said that if the Intolerable Acts, “were the American Patriots ' term for a series of punitive laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 after the Boston Tea party”,(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intolerable_Acts) were not gone the removement of British goods would begin in colonies. The First Continental Congress included: Patrick Henry, George Washington, John Adams, Samuel Adams, John Jay, and John Dickinson.
The Declaration of Independence started the idea of a revolution and a shift in power from the monarch to the people. The document was drafted by Thomas Jefferson and signed by representatives from each of the thirteen original colonies with New York holding out the longest. Fighting had already started when The Declaration of Independence was written. That said, the colonies had not formally decided to fight for their independence until after the document was created. The document expressed the colonist’s grievances of the numerous unjust laws set into place by the king and, that the result of these laws are the colonies breaking away from Britain rule.
The tension grew between the opposing two parties (the Whigs and Tories), like slowly filling a large balloon with water, until at last the balloon burst. The most famous of these acts was the the Tea Act, which resulted in the Boston Tea Party, in which Americans snuck on board british cargo ships disguised as indians, and threw all of the tea overboard, and into the Boston Harbor. Another well known occurrence leading to the start of the Revolutionary War was the Boston Massacre, when a scuffle between the some Americans and a group of British soldiers got out of hand, and resulted in five American deaths, and six injured. Feeling threatened and very much provoked, the Americans attacked the British, and thus the Revolutionary War began. This war would produce several well known names, such as General George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, along with the other Founding Fathers who helped to write the famous Declaration of Independence.
Katherine Rivera Ms.Perla US History October, 2017 "Analysis of the Declaration of Independence" The declaration of independence its a document that announced that the thirteen colonies were at war with great Britain, which in it discusses all their concerns that people had towards the ideals of king George. They wrote it so that all the countries could know what the government was doing to the their own people and in that way gain independence, and be one only nation separate from England. Rights can 't be taken away or denied, according to the americans the rights that they had been taken away were freedom, life and the pursuit of happiness. “A decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to separation”(Declaration of independence, Thomas Jefferson).

The Colonies couldn’t have new laws until he approved of them. Once we submitted for approval he ignores them. He put lawmakers in uncomfortable situations so they would agree and do what he said. When he doesn’t like what a Colonies’ legislatures has done, he destroys the legislature and sends the lawmakers home.
The colonists were already uncontent because of British taxation, and the Boston Massacre would further enrage them. Tension had been high since October 1768 when 4,000 British troops first appeared in Massachusetts to enforce the heavy tax burden imposed by the Townshend acts. Reinforcement troops were sent by the parliament to increase the taxes on the American colonies.
How does one tell the story of America? Is the story based on facts from the American Revolution? Does he or she consider the immigration papers flooding Elis Island? Perhaps, one finds comfort, excitement, and truth in the films depicting the second World War. Moreover, the American story can find its home in the eccentric music, protest literature, and magnificent plays of the rebellious late twentieth century.
The American Declaration of Independence was drafted in 1776 by Thomas Jefferson and proclaimed, when the American Revolutionary War had already started a year ago in 1775. The Vietnamese Declaration of Independence was written by Ho Chi Minh in 1945 and announced to the public in Ba Dinh Square , after which a period of struggle occurred between the Vietminh and the French forces. I would like to put forth my argument that both primary sources showed that the two independent movements were responses to the unfair treatment and policies imposed on the colonies by their colonial masters, thereby culminating in a declaration of ambition, desire and action, to form and preserve their new independent regimes. Both sources broadcasted the misdeeds and mistakes, which the colonial masters had committed against the colonists, to the world. The American Declaration provided a long list of grievances the colonists had against the British government, which amounted to over 60 percent of the document.
