Key Concept Explanation
Customization in industry is simply the offering of a product or service suited exactly to the customer’s desires, needs, or specifications. While this sounds as simple as “give the customer what they want,” a myriad of issues in flexibility, ability, adaptability, transparency, and profitability exist that can dilute the attraction to customization by a firm. Companies are discovering that they can elevate customer loyalty and engagement by utilizing customization to boost sales and gain market share by fulfilling the customer’s desire (Spaulding & Perry, 2013). A company must essentially be able to transform themselves and how they normally do things depending on the customer's preferences. In a company’s transformation for customization, they must consistently deliver high-quality outputs, without compromising quality, while the company’s offerings retain a reasonable cost. Customizing services in the new digital age can be accomplished several ways in that companies can follow purchasing trends of customers, record items purchased, and even reach the customer in digital communication with incentives, special buys, coupons, and limited edition products to further ascertain the customer’s product …show more content…

Important fitness components required to play soccer include having excellent aerobic endurance fitness and muscular endurance due to the fact that soccer players can run on average and in excess of 11 kilometres in a single game most of which occur at a moderate jog to run. One particular way to test this can be the beep test as it involves jogging repeatedly at an increasing rate per interval. High levels of speed and agility are also important traits to have when playing soccer in order to be able to beat and dribble opposition players and in order to be able to be in the right positions when required. Tests for theses fitness components can be agility runs which include sprinting a short distance to a set point before stopping and turning
“They have developed one-product service mix that is marketed to all potential consumers in the target markets. This approach considers the market to be one homogeneous market segment with similar wants and needs.”
The first day of college was different for me since it started during the summer. My writing skills in the beginning of the class weren 't as strong as they are now. I knew college would be a much more difficult than high school because there would be a larger work load. The diagnostic essay was the first essay I wrote in college. I was really worried about the results I would get on a college level.
The film Precious Knowledge is from the perspective of a group of students at Tuscan High School in Arizona. The school system wanted to increase graduation rates and was looking at different ways to do this. The school came to the conclusion that a Mexican- American studies class will increase the dropout rate from 48 percent. This class taught students about Mexican-American history and culture with a curriculum that can be related to social justice while thinking critically and socially conscious. The Governor of Arizona started to protest this class because of the books they were reading and some of the material that was being taught was considered to be promoting the overthrow of the US Government.

Customers worry that the products would not perform like they want the products to (Lurie, 2004). The customer may have confidence with trying new products with a money back guarantee. If Ron could provide a guarantee the customer would be more prompt to try Mid-Town products. The customer may be overwhelmed by all the products Mid-Town can supply (Chang & Chen, 2009). Customers may be concerned the products may not be customized for their company (Chang & Chen, 2009).
According to Wiggins and McTighe (2005), understanding is remarkable in that it is “drawn from the experience of experts” and is “transferable… having enduring value” and is “best acquired by “uncovering”, constructed by the learner” and “summarizes important principles”. There are 6 facets of understanding: explanation, interpretation, application, perspective, empathy, self-knowledge, as stated by Wiggins and McTighe (2005). What I gathered from the readings is that we should use the 6 facets in all three stages of backward design in order to guide our goals for students, our assessments, and the actual activities. I really appreciate that they made a point to say that the facets help teachers to guide student critical thinking, that we
A fantastic example of aesthetic customization is my mom's Mustang. My mom bought her dream Mustang a while ago and to make it unique to her, she had a decal shop make and install custom purple butterfly decals. Now she is very proud to say that it is the only one in the world with those decals. All of the happiness that this brought my mother would have been obliterated by the self-driving car. The sensors required to make the car function in the current prototypes are in the side.
Ray’s Theory We love our “Hero’s.” In Robert B. Ray’s essay, The Thematic Paradigm, he explains that Americans have always been undecided about the value of civilization. Whether in real life or fictional, there is a contrast in the “Hero” type. First being the “Official Hero,” one who is responsible, usually having a family, job and one who believes “you can’t take the law into your own hands.”
Some retailers, like Bed Bath & Beyond, have added a ‘scan-for-more’ digital tool, which allows customers to be able to view product images, information, and reviews. Similarly, with REI’s omnichannel initiative, customers can find up-to-date product information on any device. REI has added Wi-Fi access to stores and has provided associates with mobile devices to be able to look up information and inventory availability in real-time for customers. Gone are the days when consumers were blindly loyal to the brands they grew up with; today, transparency is
Specify organisational standards of customer service So the customer segment of the Ritz-Carlton is a wealthy clientele who has very high expectations since they use to get upscale products because they are ready to pay more to have more. Therefore, the differentiation of the Ritz-Carlton is made on an efficient and effective customer service. As we know the needs are general but the wants are specific, so the companies have to make the difference so as to become the customer’s wants. For example, customers will need to book an hotel room but some customers will want to book an Ritz-Carlton hotel room.
What is the value of the common sense principles to a minister? “Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil” (Rom. 14:16-19). MacDonald writes, “So the principle here is that we should not allow these secondary things, which are perfectly permissible in themselves, to give occasion to others to condemn us for our “looseness” or “lovelessness.” It would be like sacrificing our good name for a mess of pottage.”
