Out of all my top schools Cal-State San Bernardino, Loma Linda, and Spelman; I was more drawn to Loma Linda because all while in high school my top school was always Loma Linda University. The campus size it’s not too small but not too big. I enjoy smaller campuses that way I can get to class on time and also it helps with getting to meet new people. I also like the location. I love the city of Loma Linda it’s like home away from home. It would be easier for me to travel to school being a single mother can’t be too far away from my kids. I like that there is only a hundred plus staff, I like to get to know my teachers outside of class. The diversity here is also there’s students from all over the world that goes to school here. Also it’s 73.2 % females and males 26.8% here. That …show more content…
The location is perfect for my family and I. The diversity is good overall. I like the fact that 64.2% is female and 35.8% is male. I like the fact that a lot of students from around the world also goes to school here. The classes sizes are ok not too bad its 20-49 in a class. Sometimes this can be a good thing but not for one on one time with the teachers. They have a lot of top notch staff here. That’s a plus because I want to learn from the best to be the best. I really enjoy the campus it’s big and amazing. The cultures of the school fit me make me feel like I’m at home. So that a big plus. I like that fact that the school offer housing off campus. Starting from 8,835.00, 8,814.00, and 8,694.00.That’s yearly I think the housing is affordable. They also offer so many programs and Cal grants that will help you pay for school. I like that the housing is family friendly. This school will be the best school for me to attend due to the fact I’m a single mother of two. They also have a lot of daycares around campus that’s a plus for me as well. Out of all the school Cal State would be a match school for
This school is a tradition is my family. My great grandpa, grandpa, father, and now my brother attends as a very successful student and athlete. This school has changed my life drastically. I do not live with my brother, Will. Which is hard for all my family.
They have a myriad of state qualifiers, two District 10 titles, one metro title, and four regional titles. I feel I would have more of a chance of earning scholarships to colleges when I get older. Like I said before, this school would contribute to my life as an adult. On top of that knowledge, I’ve heard time
Why is Newton, KS such a good city to live in? We have more than 50 people living here. That 's a lot for a medium size city. It 's great for kids to come here. Theirs fresh air, and even schools for everyone.
On top of this BYU has an elite academic profile worth at least ten times the current cost of tuition. It’s a very competitive school and I can’t wait to be pushed to be the best student I can and fully live up to the potential I have. Furthermore, Networking at BYU is unbelievable. You can secure lifelong friends and extensive contacts for the future.
Everyone gets along well in and out of the classroom and of that room and I love it. One of the many things I love about that class is how I could be having a bad day and soon as a I come to Yearbook I feel
Talking about how great teachers are here at Cowley is an understatement by calling them great. These teacher always put the students first even sometimes over their own family. The teachers will stay late after class and come early if you need the help. They also help so much because you can get one-on-one help because of how small the classrooms are. As if you went to a University you can’t get that help with a teacher because some of the classes are with 300 students.
Luckily I have a small advantage of this amazing college because it offers a tuition & fee of $8,855 for students in-state, which is affordable compared to $23,935 for students out-of-states. However that reason why this college caught my attention was because
I grew up in San Francisco, California and I am so happy that i did. My home state has always seemed so welcoming compared to others and it still continues to do so in my opinion. I believe that growing up in california has positively influenced me because it is so diversed and filled with endless opportunities. There are so many people from all over the world who come to california and it is an important aspect because it resulted to having me exposed to different cultures as I’ve grown up and it has changed my perspectives on many things in the world. Opportunities are also everywhere in california, for example , a program that i am attending called Breakthrough, it is a non profit organization that supports youth in receiving a good education and supports students on the path to college.
Brookdale was named one of the top community college in New Jersey and can really help you transfer into a good school because of their connection. I have learned so much of my time at Brookdale and feel like I could be ready for a four year college because of Brookdale. Furthermore, going to Brookdale was a good choice for me because I am getting good grades. Because I made a commitment into getting a good education and not slacking off I am finally getting good grades. During my time in high school, I would get Bs and Cs, but now at Brookdale, I am getting grades I could only dream of and also enjoy learning athte same time.
Although in reality, from the beginning, Lionville was nothing like I had imagined. Yes there were responsibilities, but none I could not handle, and yes there were new people, but meeting them helped shape me into the person I am today, and yes the school was gigantic, and I did get lost, but I ended up becoming familiar with the school, just like I did my elementary. In fact, eventually, I began to enjoy the independence, people, and surroundings at Lionville, much more than I did at my elementary school, Uwchlan Hills. Additionally, I also had many fantastic teachers throughout my three years at the
Yes. Will I always feel lucky to be a USC student? Absolutely. My goal since freshman year in high school has been to attend USC SCA. I am well aware that it is the number one film school in the country, but I also know that the USC Core classes will help to make me a more well-rounded person, as well as a better filmmaker.
I believe that TCU is a great fit for me because I am a student who believes in constantly improving myself and my skills. I am an actively involved student in my school community, and I love the fact that TCU offers such a wide variety of classes and organizations for students like me to take part in. I know that I personally thrive best among other students who not only push themselves, but encourage those around them to do so as well, and from meeting many TCU students, it is evident to me that TCU embodies that idea. After my time at TCU, I hope to discover a more independent, authentic version of myself.
I enjoyed being a part of the James Madison community. I liked being at a university whose goal is get students to become hard working and community based. I loved the diversity and philanthropy that JMU offers. I met outstanding citizens, whose backgrounds all were different, that merged together to become one big community. I also loved how the courses challenged me to think critically and exceed beyond my regular realm of thinking.
This is another great attribute to San Tan Foothills. Your teachers, not only teach you and help you learn the subjects needed to get to college and to get a fantastic job, they seem like your friends. We can joke around and also have respect at the same time. These teachers have so much care and love for their students. It makes San Tan Foothills a fun and easy going school to go to.
I live in a very small town with a total of about 800 people. My school has 98 students 7th-12th grade. Class sizes are small and sometimes non-existent. Our school does not give us the opportunities you may receive in a larger school like foreign language classes, but this school has given me the best opportunity I have ever had. My 9th-grade year I decided to take a music class from a new teacher at my school.
