A strong work ethic, a fierce focus, an attention to detail, and a strong desire for success…these are some of the qualities that make Miss Elizabeth Peck a very special young lady. I have known Elizabeth for two and a half years as her classroom teacher and Beta Club advisor. In every interaction that I have had with Elizabeth, she has been the picture of maturity and class. She is an extraordinary young lady who has proven that persistence is the most reliable indicator of success. Elizabeth was a student in my English II-Honors class, and she immediately set herself apart from her peers by turning in work that was fastidiously done. She is a perfectionist, so everything she did was of the highest caliber. She easily earned an A for …show more content…
Last year, Beta Club was a mélange of disorganization, so little was accomplished. This year, Elizabeth has changed all of that. She has bandied her officers together as a cohesive unit to work with the membership. She has single-handedly scheduled a diverse number of events, from candy can sales to pet shelter work to food pantry work, as a means with which to get new members involved. She has also organized meeting activities that has helped the members acquaint themselves with one another more readily. She is easy for members to contact, organized with all activities, and open to suggestions from everyone who is part of the group. I am so proud of her efforts! A young lady of this caliber is often a member of other organizations, and Elizabeth is no different. From cross country to National Honor Society, Elizabeth is involved in her school. She also works with her church to conduct mission projects, help in the nursery, and assist with youth events. Clearly, her involvement shows a young lady with an eclectic array of activities. These activities only further to enhance her character and her work ethic. She could easily just focus on her academics, but she clearly knows that a well-rounded selection of activities only serves to make her a stronger person. I heartily recommend Miss Elizabeth Peck for the scholarship for which she is applying. She is an extraordinary young woman who has already surmounted so many obstacles. She has already achieved success, on her

Elizabeth is able to pack her lunch with assistance in reading the menu and verbal reminders to pack everything needed for her lunch and snack. She does well with coming home, cleaning out lunch box and washing containers at night. needing few reminders and supervision for these tasks. She is able to tell you her address: the road she lives on, town she lives in, and state. Has some trouble with the house number and her phone number; gets the numbers confused.
She is able to show initiative when given a specific task and makes sure that her fellow peers are on track while making sure everyone in her group feels valued as well as included. She is also especially mature
Elizabeth Anne is presented as a sympathetic character in the short story "Elizabeth Takes the Reins". Elizabeth is portrayed as the "sensitive" main character who later learns to do small things on her own. There are three primary reasons that show she is a sensitive character. First, she was forced to go somewhere she did not want to go. Secondly her aunt, named Frances has either died or has gone somewhere, third her Great-Uncle Henry has no sympathy towards her at all.
An English writer Gilbert K. Chesterton once said, "The way to love anything is to realize that it may be lost." In the year 1692, the Puritans of Salem they understand the meaning of Mr. Chestrton's words. To prevent everything can change or lose. In Arthur Miller's play, The Crucible, he shows how love can give one courage and strength. Elizabeth is a great moral wife.
Though almost everyone in the story is hysterical, greedy, and jealous, there are some genuine people in this world. Elizabeth truly shows the readers what a true and pure puritan wife is. A woman who loves and stands by her husband through anything. Even when the husband is at fault.
Phoebe Apperson, is an example of a strong female work in the education field and philanthropy. Her work was aimed towards women and children, such as orphanages and female school. It is so important both boys and girls, men and women have the same opportunities
Seton was born two years before the American Revolution, and grew in the upper class of New York. She learned the importance of giving back, and was often serving others. Not only did Elizabeth know a kind heart, but she was getting to be a very well- rounded woman. Saint Elizabeth was gorgeous, fluent in French, musical, and greatly accomplished.
She is kind. She shows her kindness when she puts her children to sleep. “Elizabeth is heard softly singing to her children”. (act2 p.487) She also shows her kindness when she is sad that a rabbit dies.
Service helps me overcome this feeling. When I get out of bed I feel better after and that motivates me for the next time my anxiety hits”. This is even more proof that Elizabeth is a walking testimony of what perseverance can do. Elizabeth takes the troubles that could overwhelm others and uses them to make herself even
Instead of letting everything go, she starts acting, making one empowering choice after another, no matter how hard and challenging life seems. Acceptance into an alternative high school Humanities Prep provides Liz with the support, community, and accountability she needs to thrive. With an abundance of encouragement from Perry and other exceptional teachers, she earns her high school diploma in two years rather than four years. Murray states, “It was possible I could change everything”. (Murray 251)
Elizabeth Proctor was true to God, her husband, and family. At the beginning of the story, she and John Proctor, her husband, were known as the best judges of character. As the play continues and the plot unfolds, she and her family became the resounding examples of their judgments. This occurs when Elizabeth finds out that her husband has been having an affair with their housekeeper, Abigail Williams. We, the readers, can infer that John had an affair because of Elizabeth’s cold, emotionless, and detached attitude.
The path to self discovery is the most terrifying, yet the most rewarding journey a person can experience. Jane Austen portrays this journey throughout her novel Pride and Prejudice. All through the novel the reader gets to endure the ups and downs of this journey with Elizabeth Bennet. She begins off the book very prideful on the fact that she is different than her society. As well, she prides herself on knowing people and being able to read them very easily, unlike her older sister Jane.
