A hero displays acts of courage, and he definitely did that. Going off to war, far away from home and your family is not something that just anyone is brave enough to do, but Chris Kyle was different. He was very brave and courageous. He was a sniper, meaning that he would sit for long periods of time by himself in a dangerous area all so that we could live in safety (“American Sniper”). That is a huge display of bravery and supporting reason that he is a hero.
Chris Kyle the Hero Heroes don’t need to have super-powers such as shooting lasers out of your eyes, flying, or super-speed. They don’t need a wear a mask, a cape, or tight spandex and fight evil villains at night in order to be a hero. Heroes can be ordinary people like Chris Kyle, a member of the United States Navy Seal and the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history, with over 160 kills confirmed by the Department of Defense. Chris Kyle is my perfect example of a hero because his actions in the past few years have shown me that he is selfless by putting the safety of others before himself, devoted by spending a great deal of time his fellow troops on and off the battlefield, and watchful by protecting the people he cares about.
This act of heroism showed he was caring and courageous. Archie Biggers showed courage as he continued to fight the enemy while he was wounded. According to the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor “2nd Lieutenant Biggers was wounded when his platoon came under intense fire. Despite his wound, he led an assault against enemy position, forcing them to abandon that position.”

Pat Tillman risked his life for his country and died protecting it like a hero. A hero is someone who stands up for themself and puts his/her life at risk inorder to protect others. A hero is radicall different from a fake hero. "Heroes" who play for the audience and cameras don't care about others, but only care about themselves and their public image. They are distinguished by the rewards they receive rather than the sacrifices they make.
No matter the circumstance, anyone can put their best foot forward and be the hero they were born to

These people are soldiers. Those who serve our country always have, and always will stand as role model for me. The way that they are able to risk their lives shows a bravely that I can only hope to one day have.
