Google, is one of the most well known companies not just within the United States but worldwide. The company was created in 1998 through a project at Stanford University, and in just 16 years has grown to a company with revenue of over $59.825 billion dollars. Google focuses in online and Internet related products and services. Google is most recognized for their search engine capabilities but is also involved with, and has ownership of, other well-known Internet sites such as YouTube and Blogger. As of 2013, the Google company, has grown to over 70 companies located in more than 40 countries. Google has also grown to one of the most valuable brands in the world, it is almost dead even with Apple and differing reports name different companies in that number one spot. The most well known is their search engine, Google. Within the search engine users can also access many different types of programs and services including, Gmail, Google Images, Google News, Google Shopping, Google Drive, and Sites and those are just on the Google Website. Google also has control over: Google Earth, Google Maps, Google Talk, Google Desktop, Google Books, Google Scholar, Google Finance, Google Trends, Google Wallet, Google Chrome, Google Voice, Google Ventures, and Google TV. (Our History) This company also offers response services including Google Elections, which can help keep users up to date with elections. Google is also responsible for Santa Tracker. Santa Tracker is an interactive sight where users can track Santa and his present delivering. Google has also responded to users needs with services like Person Finder.
