Article Of Ray Bradbury’s Life
Ray Bradbury born August 22, 1920 started his life in Waukegan, Illinois. He was born to Leonard Spaulding Bradbury and Ester Moberg Bradbury who was a Swedish immigrant. Waukegan Illinois which was his hometown was also a place he incorporated into many of his short stories and books. As a kid Ray Bradbury had a thing for magicians and he loved to read adventure and fiction books. These books are what sparked his love for writing. Ray Bradbury at a young age loved to write, by the age of 12 to 13 is when he started writing. Ray Bradbury loved to write because he could create his heroes and stories that could live on. Ray Bradbury used his hometown of Waukegan to help create the foundation of many of his stories and without the many experiences he had many of them would not be here.

During his high school years Ray Bradbury kept reading and writing and graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1938 at the age of 18. During High School Ray Bradbury participated and was connected to the drama club. Ray Bradbury visited Bob Olson who at the time was a science fiction author for mentorship many times and this helped him learn and prosper as a writer. While in High School Ray Bradbury lived near the Uptown Theater for MGM and Fox, Ray Bradbury learned how to sneak in and out of the theater to watch previews every week. After high school Ray Bradbury did not go to college he did not have enough money to afford to go so this is where his main education ended.
