Dear fellow nasty women and bad hombres, America is one the greatest experiments in freedom and liberty history has ever known. We are a nation that was built on the minds and ideals of immigrants. Our Founding Fathers created America so that everyone could have a chance at "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Those are aspects of my country, I would never change because they are what make us unique. The glow of America casts a ripple of hope upon those who struggle. Those who live among poverty and violence look to America and see a wonderful country filled with opportunity. However, in recent months, America has become a laughingstock, a joke. Donald Trump, as well as many conservative Republicans would like to would like to build a wall separating America from Mexico, limit a woman’s choices, and deny current citizens basic psychological and physical assistance. We should work towards building human connections, not walls. Our future president will have the power to implement an immigration policy and make decisions that will effect the immigrants who currently reside within our borders. As a woman, I believe that my rights should not be determined by some man in Washington DC. Instead, everyone should be entitled to their own opinion. Abortions and contraceptives are not procedures or medications that women usually advertise and frankly, it is none of government’s business what women choose to do with their own bodies. They are not the property of men or the
Great Evening women and courteous fellows, My names Johnson Tia, I am here to talk around an intense issues, that has put a huge number of individuals at danger of losing their properties, families, companions, friends and family and above all lives. This has gone to a point where it genuinely should be tended to and put to a stop. This issue is developing each day, even presently, it is developing, this issue is something that could go on everlastingly, if not managed. This issue has been distressing for Australia as well as it has left a considerable measure of unanswered inquiries, with respect to why they go to our nation and what they are searching for? Under the traditional law, asylum was recognised as the right of the state to be conferred, in its discretion, and individual could only request for it and if granted enjoy it. Unfortunately, all the efforts to ensure right of asylum to every person fearing persecution have been forestalled by states. In the last few years U.S.A, Australia, Germany, France and other European countries to name a few, are increasingly putting into practice restrictive asylum policies in order to deter and to prevent asylum-seekers from seeking refuge in their territory.

The Right to Abortion On January 22, 1973, in a 7-2 ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down it’s landmark decision in the case of Roe v. Wade, which recognized that the constitutional right to privacy extends to a woman’s right to make her own personal medical decisions — including the decision to have an abortion without interference from politicians (Planned Parenthood). There are many moments in history when Roe v. Wade has been so close to being overturned, yet it is still in place. Abortion should stay legal, or not overturned, for the health of women everywhere. First, this important case took place at the time of abortion being illegal in most states, including Texas, where Roe v. Wade began.
“We always hear about the rights of democracy, but the major responsibility of it is participation.” (Marsalis). Politics influences almost everything we do in our lives and how we do it. Therefore, political participation in the American government, a democracy, is the best way to be the change you want to see in your community and in your country. One small yet important and effective way to do this is by contacting your government and voicing your opinions, and when I wanted to raise the issue of immigration reform for the DACA recipients, I researched the issue, wrote a letter, and sent it.
DACA a program passed under the Obama administration in which protected immigrants from deportation has changed the lives of so many people also known as Dreamers. This program has given many immigrants the opportunity to a better future. Since Trumps announcement on the end of the DACA program, it has created a lot of controversy on why we shouldn't end the program. Experts believe that ending DACA would greatly affect our economy. Most of the programs recipients have pursued a better job or furthered their education which has created a better chance of hiring higher skilled workers.
On the night of October 1, 2017 a man named Stephen Paddock shook America with the chaos of the Las Vegas shooting. He killed 58 people and injured hundreds with a legally acquired rifle. He had the freedom to acquire the weapon but not the freedom to use it in order to do harm and leave people without mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters. Although that night was the biggest mass shooting on U.S soil, it also brought out the true patriot and hero inside of some people who saved countless lives on that tragic night. Even in the midst of chaos some people remember where they’re from and fight back against evil trying to deter America’s morale and hope.
How would you feel if you and your family were denied the opportunity to a better life or had to wait years for one? The immigrants goal is to strive for a better future for themselves and their family. Coming here will help them achieve that goal. You may be thinking why cant they have a good future where they live? In some cases, the country they live in could be poor, not have many schools, is not safe, etc.
It takes an abundant amount of time, money, and paperwork to legally immigrate to the United States. The first step of the immigration process is obtaining a visa, a step that was difficult for my parents. There are multiple types of visas, depending on the purpose why one wants to move to the United States, such an employment, family, refugee, immigration, and marriage visa. My father first applied here as an immigrant, and when he arrived in the United States, my mother applied for a marriage visa to join my father to start their new lives together. They both went to the United Nations office in Baghdad, Iraq, a complicated six-hour drive from Slemani, Kurdistan to proceed with the preliminary steps.
For decades, immigration has been a problem for the United States. Due to the people traveling from their native lands to the United States seeking a better life for themselves, and more primarily for the family that has come with them. Immigration is the action of settling into a country of which one is not native. Despite the many legal immigrants not every immigrant enters the country with legal documents and most of these illegal immigrants are poor and uneducated. Some undocumented immigrants commit crimes such as drug smuggling, or terrorism.
I.Introduction One of the greatest controversies in modern day is illegal immigrants. There are an approximate 11.4 undocumented immigrants that live in our country today. Now with your new action in place, I think it’s a good thing. Mainly because it allows lasting illegal immigrants to stay here, it allows jobs to go to documented americans, and gives children hope for a better future ahead. II.
Do you live in California,Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, or Illinois? Well if you do these states contain 60% of the Illegal Immigrants In America. Illegal immigrants have become a problem in America. In 2007 there were 6.9 million illegal immigrants, but has recently declined since then. We do remove people from this country when they trespass and put them back in their home country.
