he Industrial Revolution overall had a positive effect on happiness in the workplace, village space, and resources for workers. The first example that shows it was positive is that the children were happy and had never been beaten in work. According to the 3rd document it says “They seemed to always be cheerful and alert” this tells me that it was positive because the children never got beat and they were always happy and cheerful to be at work which could cause better work ethic. Another positive thing is that in the village they were given more places to stay and they were fed and clothed. In document 5 it states that the workers were “Entirely fed, clothed, and educated”. This tells me that it was positive because people were getting educated
Another Key factor in the Industrial Revolution was increases in transportation modes and availability of transportation. England’s first phase of canal building during the 1700s was crucial for industrialization. Canals made factories cost effective. Factories could then be built anywhere with materials easily shipped to that factor, utilize the steam engine to efficiently produce the product, and transport that products to market just easily. Transportation made mass production cost-effective and widened the market from the local to the national.
As the eighteenth century roared into existence, a rapidly growing Great Britain was faced with both an exponential commercial and population boom that was unprecedented. It is during this brief one hundred years that the nation, as well as the rest of the world, would be forever changed due to the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. While the Industrial Revolution was liberating in the sense that it gave more occupational choices , as well as the opportunity to move up the rungs of the social ladder through relocation and financial gains, it also brought regulations that had to be put in place. As commerce and trade began to expand, both domestically and abroad through colonial outposts, taxation also saw a parallel increase to not only
The 19th century brought factories that could mass-produce products with machines and workers assigned to different tasks. This sparked the Industrial Revolution. Britain was the first nation to be industrialized. They built factories and made money from them and built more factories making the nation industrialized. America became industrialized due to Thomas Jefferson’s Embargo Act and the War of 1812.
Have you ever wondered when new machines like the cotton gin were first invented? The Industrial Revolution first began and grew in England because of its natural resources, geography, and innovations. During the start of the Industrial Revolution, (early 1800s), all new machines were being invented and slaves were now longer owned and forced to work in fields. Factory products were booming while people were working in them; including children! One reason the Industrial Revolution began in England is because of its natural resources.
The Industrial Revolution began in England in the 1700’s. England was the starting point of the Industrial Revolution for many reasons. It started not just because they had the right resources but they had true grit. The revolution boomed because England had the right resources, the workers came running for work and inventions were made to make the process of the work, flow a lot faster and more efficient. First, England had the right resources to help advance their society which in return let them start the Industrial Revolution.

Deepesh Giri Imagine working in a factory standing up, putting your hand in hot water, and removing silk from silkworms for 13-14 hours. This was what the life of women and children in silk factories were during the Industrial Revolution in Japan. The Industrial Revolutions began in the 1800s it made producing goods like cloth faster and cheaper with the invention of machines. In Japan it did not arrive till 1868. In 1868 industrialization began because in that year Japan had new leaders who wanted to catch up with the west economically and militarily.
While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society because of the dangerous working conditions with no compensation for injury, it was actually a positive thing for society. Industrialization’s positive effects were that there were more jobs, child labor laws were created, and there was better transportation. The first thing was that more jobs were introduced. This made it easier for people to provide for their family, and although everyone had to work, they were all able to get a job so they could work.
The Industrial Revolution was a period that took place from the 18th to 19th centuries by which society was moving towards a more urban society than an agrarian one. During the revolution ideas of establishing a mass economic country were huge goals for America. The 1860 through 1870s were known as the years of westward expansion. The California Gold rush of 1849 in San Francisco and the discovery of silver in Nevada promised Americans economic wealth. Although there were still economic instabilities and panics in America from 1860 through 1870, the construction of the transcontinental railroad did mark a turning point in the American Economy through the support given to monopolies and the regulation of business by the federal government.

As the Industrial Revolution came about in the early 1800’s and it had a big impact on not only how people lived, but how long people lived. From the British Medical Journal, The Lancet, the life expectancy of a professional was only to the age of 38, it was 20 years old for a person of the middle class or an average person, and for a laborer in the factories the life expectancy was about 17 years old. (Doc. 8) The reason for terrible numbers is all of the pollution in the air and water throughout the city. From The Graphic magazine, the picture shows the view from the Blackfriars bridge over the River Irwell.
The industrial revolution was an impactful era for humanity’s advancement, all over the world. People becamse eager to find faster and easier ways of doing everyday tasks, and began inventing in the 1760’s. England was the first to begin the textile revolution, which was the mass production of cloth in mills and factories. The role of women in the textile industry was significant because of their agility and smaller hands. Soon after England’s revolution, Japan followed along, about a century later in the late 1800’s; through their emperor:
