American Industrial Revolution North vs. South The American industrial revolution had many effects on the north and south in the 1800’s. While the North took advantage of the industrial process, the Southerners were still very agricultural and invested in land and slaves. That being said the american industrial revolution highlighted the fact that the economic strategies of the south were not strong enough to last through the changes in technology, transportation and population .

How did Industrial Revolution help the United States of America? The one and most important Industrial Revolution that helped us the most was by having Samuel Slater bring over the blueprints and have inventions take up over there. If it was not for something that evoked Samuel to come over then we might not be very wealthy like we are today. When Samuel brought over the blueprints the United States was very happy and thankful because now we do not have to buy items from England so they have to buy items from us. Somethings did not help us as a country was that people in England were that “People left other occupations and came to spinning for the sake of the higher wages” (Document 2).
The industrial revolution had positive and negative effects. Some negative effects were the workers had low wages, were getting sick, and that they had to work longer hours. Some positive effects are that steel industry was increasing throughout the years. Throughout the industrial revolution our country has changed a lot and many children could not go to school because their family did not get enough money. These reasons have affected a lot of people today.
The industrial revolution was really important because it was the start of machine made items and machine operating systems. “It brought greater volume and variety of factory and produced goods” (Industrial Revolution). The Industrial Revolution has changed America in many ways, some good and some bad. The most important changes that brought about the Industrial Revolution were the invention of machines to do the work of hand tools, the use of steam, and later of other kinds of power, in place of the muscle of human beings and animals, and the adoption of the factory system. In my opinion the Industrial Revolution has done more good for America than it has done harm. In the beginning of the Industrial Revolution there weren’t many laws that governed the industries.
Paragraph 1: Industrialization really took of in the United States during the late 1800s and the early 1900s. Before then, America 's population had mostly lived out in the farms and ranches of the country, but that was about to change when more and more people started to move to the cities for work. Most of the people that moved, found themselves in factory jobs for the steel industry or alike, or working for the railroads. Companies could really thrive, as the United States government, adopted a policy of Laissez Faire.
