There are three major types of skin cancer, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and of course melanoma. Most people are more familiar with melanoma and because it is the least common they continue to think they won’t get cancer. They are malignant meaning they will not spread to other parts of the body, and are usually able to be easily removed.
