November 2003. I was five months old and was on my way to Australia. I lived there for five years with my parents and my grandparents. My parents later got divorced and my Mom and I moved back to the United States when I was six. My Dad has stayed in Australia and lived there for a couple more years. He later moved to New Zealand with my Uncle and my grandparents had stayed in Australia. Growing up, I never really had my father in my life. I lived with my mom for most of the years because my Dad lived across the country. When I was ten, my Mom and Dad decided that it was time for me to see my father after not seeing him for four years. December of 2014, I left the United States to go live with my Dad in New Zealand. I lived over there for a …show more content…
I've always been driven to do the best I can in every subject. When I was younger, I never really cared about homework or paying attention because I always thought that whatever the teacher was talking about wasn't going to be relevant to when i got older. Once I started middle school, that whole mindset changed. My mom was on my case about every single subject. Sixth grade was a struggle for me. I didn't try because I didn't care. Towards the ending year of sixth grade, I got my AVID recommendation letter. I signed up, applied, and got accepted. I came into seventh grade expecting to do the same in sixth grade, maybe even worse because the work would be harder. I can say that after one year of AVID, I improved so much. I ended with a 3.8 G.P.A. I never thought that I would be able to accomplish something like that. I thank the AVID program so much for teaching me new skills that I will need while I enter High School in a couple of months. I am in the AVID program in my eighth grade year. I will not be participating in AVID for my freshman year. I will be attending college as well. I would not have the idea of college if it wasn't for AVID. My motivation for college is knowing that I will be the first to attend college out of my immediate
Exercise 7-13 I have to announce everyone in the group that we will not be able to meet the June 1 commitment to ship 100 operating tables to Southeast Surgical Supplies. To be clear, we only have 30 tables on hand as a report of this morning. However, this is not our fault entirely. Six months ago, purchasing warned us about shrinking supplies and suggested we buy as much as we could in advance for the next 12 months. We tried to follow their advice, but we were never be able to buy supplies in advance due to company’s policy about never buying more than three months worth of materials in advance.
Monday, November 02, 2015 Yesterday we saw Rhonda’s sister, brother, and cousin at our neighbor’s pool. Each of those children, have an original way of looking at their world. No matter how hard she tried, Margaret couldn’t finish the crossword puzzle.

Assignment 1 What is Web Server Scripting? Explain the principles of web server scripting: Web server scripting is simply where a script is executed on the web server before a webpage is sent to the user. This means that the files that the user can customised rather the layout or information shown on the webpage once they load it up, an example of this would be, on Facebook once you login you will get a news feed, which is for you alone and no one else. This makes webpages dynamic; they can change depending on circumstances of the user instead of being a simple static page which can’t change rather the layout, information and so forth.

For this Mashup I used the homophones dear, deer, sun and son. I chose these homophones because I felt like they would provide me with many different options of websites and facts for my assignment. For the first term son, the definition is a child that is a boy that belongs to a family. For my websites embedded in my Mashup I provided one that included the definition of son, so that the student could see what a son is.
Colleges, Degrees, and nice job is what people want, or at least Gaby Marin wants. In May Gaby got a letter she would never forget. The letter of acceptance. She had found out that she was accepted into avid. This was a vital piece to her life.
In interviewing my mother and sister-in-law, I was fully aware that there would be two distinct perspectives relating to health, healing, birth and death. The fact that my mother did not acknowledge our indigenous bloodline was of no surprise to me. That is partially due to the society she grew up in, where repressing any indigenous identity, were rejected influences by colonization and intergenerational trauma. Whereas, interviewing my sister-in-law who is indigenous and identifies as a Kichwa woman, grew up with a completely different philosophy, belief and acceptance. The reason I state this is to give a clear understanding of how these two opposite ideologies influenced my world.
Part B – 1. Identity I am a young white middle class heterosexual female who was born in Canada and raised in an English and French speaking nuclear family household. This statement matches how socially I see myself, and how others would see me by first impression, but it does not define who I am. It captures everything that I am as a person, but it fails to capture my beliefs, such as my religion and view on politics.
