Objectivism Pros • Advocates for “independent thinking, productiveness, justice, honesty, and self-responsibility” (Biddle, 2014). o As educators we encourage independent thinking and when it comes to online learning, one will need to be able to think independently as sometimes the course will be asynchronous. • Objectivism advocates scientific advancement, industrial progress, objective (as opposed to “progressive” or faith-based) education” (Biddle, 2014). • “Every principle is derived from the observable facts of reality and the demonstrable requirements of human life and happiness” (Biddle, 2014). o I feel that my district is doing this currently with their “visible learning walkthroughs.”

Online nursing is that process and it is allowing more flexibility and more active learning of course material. There are advantages and disadvantages of using online learning to teach in the nursing field. The main advantages of online learning are flexibility and active learning (Kenny.) The flexibility offered by online classes is unmatched. Based on personal experience, I can tell you that you can work almost anywhere and at any time.
Although this could result in students being in school 30 minutes longer it gives them the opportunity to complete some tasks that would cause them stress later that
This essay will explore the controversial topic of whether online education is better than traditional education. Online education currently has many advantages, and these are very attractive to most students. One of the most important factor to why so many students in the world is taking online courses is because of its flexibility. It is apparent that student can listen to the lectures or use the course materials anytime and anywhere, as long as they have internet connection.
One of the ways to choose learning system that support the convenience of student is to take online learning. The definition of online learning is learning using the online system in which students do not have to attend classes. Although, online learning provides students to have the flexibility to attend the college at time and location that suitable for them, but before students make decision
This will also save the time of both. Social interaction is where you don’t understand about the homework or even the lecturer slides to be asked in the group discussion through social Medias such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Skype and many more. In this method, students can save their time not to make any appointment with the lecturer and meet them physically. Some of the students are afraid to approach with lecturer or anyone physically and hence we have online learning can solve this problem. Then, some students or lecture can use online learning when they are sick or face some problem that’s cause them can’t take a attendance in
I prefer online learning "its allows for learning in distant or disadvantaged locations, online education is easy to access and provides a convenient way to obtain course materials such as homework, exams, schedules, test scores and more" I say this because some students may need a little more time to understand the material that is getting taught. Another reason is fitting school into students ' schedules. Some people are lucky to go to school and be carefree. On the other hand, some kids have to work and help provide for their families and can 't afford to be at school all day. Well online learning can help with that in a major way.
Zaria Homework can be assigned to students in different ways other than the traditional textbook, pencil, paper. This question really varies from person to person. One may think differently about homework, than another person. Me personally, I don’t really like homework. I only like the really easy homework that you can do in like 30 seconds.
Its effect depends on the student as well as the institution that gives change. A good and well-developed online course, is the same like a well-developed traditional course, can help students to reach new worlds of learning. Such courses have many positive effects such as access , efficiency and cost 1-Access : Online learning makes education available for many different kinds of people. For example , it easy for those who have social anxiety to learn comfortably and without any stress through a screen separating them from others .
As the online scene is rapidly prevailing in our everyday life, the traditional form of face to face learning is slowly shifting its practice towards online learning. Online courses are becoming a growing trend with a flexible way of functioning in respect to time, location and accessibility. However, even though it sounds appealing, students need to consider the advantages and features of face to face learning which cannot be found online. Traditional educationis based on and helps develop: communication skills through interaction, discipline and organization, as well as a distinct value that traditional degrees have for future career advancement. Those in favor of online learning would argue that communication online is possible and just as valuable of an interaction.
1.0 Introduction Across the globe there is a generally accepted theory that meaningful contributions made to higher education by all relevant stakeholders should improve a nation's economic competitiveness and knowledge base. Education yields substantial returns to the individual in terms of earning and employability and significant gains in economic growth and wider social benefits Knight & Yorke (2003). There has been an industry change in the past few decades, where "employers are proclaiming the need for highly educated and skilled people if their businesses are to be successful in a rapidly evolving global economy" Harvey 2000, p.109). In terms of the Human Capital theory which advocates investment be made in education.
