P1 Unit 3 Network Analysis

For this particular task, I will be explaining what key components are necessary for client workstations to connect to a network and how to access network resources. I will be explaining the key features and functions of each of these components in relative detail.
Network Devices:
These are mechanisms used to connect computers and other electronic devices together so they can exchange and share files or special resources like printers or fax machines used in big organisations. LAN is the main type of network device used by the community. Workstations are special computers designed or technical applications and its meant to be used at one at a time how it works is that it is connected to a local area network (LAN) which is able to run multi user operating system. In terms of computer networks a server is a computer program that provides services to other computer programs which is sent to their users in the same time.

Wireless technology is used for data transmission. Wireless technology carries a particular information from one place to another. Examples of wireless technologies are a remote control because while you’re using it, it sends control commands information to your TV making you want to change the channel or record a particular programme. Another example of wireless technology is a wireless sound system because it sends audio information to speakers and headphones. Bluetooth is a wireless technology used for the exchanging of data over short distances. It tends to be plugged in to mobile phones and on computers mostly. Bluetooth uses radio frequency to transmit data, it creates a short range of network and can connect up to eight computes and it is very secure. Bluetooth can be connected through PAN because it allows you to create an Ethernet network with wireless links between laptops and mobile
