As a was running down the hallway I heard footsteps and I turn into a classroom that was big as two rooms put together. The room was not filled with joy it was a whole nightmare, all you could see was a light switch that was glowing at the top of of the stair case, so I went up there to turn it on and I saw peple without mask they where screming my name and i knew that was my friends they where going into a trap and it was a net at the end of the hallway. I ran after them “waspppppp” the sound of the net scared me and my friends where smart enought no to go in there and something set it off I do know what did nut i was out so i whould not get
I heard the inspectors heavy footsteps walking around upstairs and then towards the basement door. My heart was beating fast. More than fast. It felt like it was going to explode. I could feel my heartbeat in my throat and could hear it in my ears.
I heard nothing except for sirens ringing in the distance. The sirens gradually got louder and louder “Wee-Woo-Wee-Woo” until they stopped in front of the building where I was all alone. The door was smashed on by these people in black suits. He said his name was Rocky and he asked me where his “boys” were. I didn’t know so I did not respond.
For fifteen years, I put my heart, effort, and soul into my band Murky Waters. I made it into a career that supports my wife, my stepdaughter, and my parents. Murky Waters is what saved my family and me from poverty in the ghetto of Warsaw, Poland, and it’s what saved me from giving up on life entirely before I met my wife. I met her only a year after Murky Waters began and she was introduced to me by my best friend and drummer, Tony. Anka was two months pregnant with my stepdaughter, Antonia, at the time we met.
We humans often consider ourselves to be apex predators, invincible thanks to our superior intelligence. Somewhere deep within our subconscious, there is an ever present awareness of danger, but it’s easier to ignore the notion. Thus, "the world is stable and life is secure" isn’t an unreasonable conclusion. At age twelve, I was living in this state of mind, content with not having to face the fragility of my existence, when I picked up Richard Preston’s The Hot Zone. The title page boasted that it was “a terrifying true story”.
La“Evil rarely comes in the form of monsters, but rather in the form of relatively normal people who, for reasons of careers, idealology, or a desire for society’s approval, are indifferent to the human consequences of their actions”-Hannah Arendt. In both the fictional case of Mayella Ewells and the non-fictional case with Ruby Bates, they revealed their evil natures in the pursuit of careers and society’s approval. It can certainly be seen the influence that society has had on Mayella and Ruby to shape them as victims and accusers. Mayella Ewell and Ruby Bates have both been shaped into victims by society and their families. Mayella and Ruby both grew up in very poor families that lived in black communities and had bad living situations at home.
When i went up the stairs EVERY single stair had a hole in them, when I got upstairs a HUGE piece of sharp wood fell from the ceiling and I ran! I went in the basement and then I heard nothing and then all the sudden somebody or something was coming down the stairs! I broke the window with a axe and I cut my leg open when I crawled out the wind and when I got out I ran four there and a half miles without stopping. I ditched Barry and john, because I was TERRIFIED!
So I was scared of what the people would do if I was caught. I held the knife firmly in my hand and was about to sneak out and I peaked under the tent. And saw trucks and cars with things mounted on them that I have never seen before then something grabbed my arm. and pulled me back it was Dr.Zygon the second in command of the lab I looked at him and smiled and hugged him with tears. He carried me outside and set me down behind the tent and me to run to the car and drive away in the northwest direction and with the knife in my hand I ran a sound rang out
As I stood up, I lost all sense of balance and tumbled down to the stone cold cement. I was back on my feet after another attempt and all I could see was bodies skewered everywhere. I saw the police telling each other to check the security footage. Just after stepping out of a nightmare, two police officers began to shoot at me. I just took off.
It was a dark and stormy night. I was laying on the couch watching a scary movie on the TV, its radiant light lit up the room. I was just about to fall asleep when I heard a clamorous sound come from the basement. I jumped from my position on the couch and ran to the basement door. My mouth started to taste foul as my body filled with fear.
My breath trembled, I knew I needed to hide. I got up and ran. I ran as fast as I could. I heard someone holler, that only encouraged me to run faster. Suddenly, a hand grabbed my arm out of nowhere.
Ran into what looked like my old home, but when I looked around all I could see was dead burnt bodies with smoke still reflecting off their skin. I almost puked I knew that it as my family, but I was still in denial. Out of no where I hear a little voice say, “Uncle Bahauddin is that you?” “Yes, yes it….it
I along with my family moved to Canada in 2004, this was the biggest and happiest day of my life. I had great expectations for my future; since living in Pakistan, I understood that Canada was a land of opportunity. Unfortunately, due to the earthquake in Pakistan on October 8th , 2005, we had to move back to Pakistan since we had lost members of our family as well. The move back to Pakistan at that devastating time was very hard for myself and my family. My father enrolled me to a school in Pakistan since we were going to live there now.
I slowly turned my head to see a gun pointed right at me, my heart stopped and I slowly removed my hand from his neck. His hands were shaking like he didn’t want to hurt me. I grabbed his arm and pushed it up right as he would have killed me. The shoot made a hole in the ceiling and I twisted his arm the wrong way. He seemed to be in no harm the only way I could tell was from his eyes.
From the first time I walked into the hammer circle, I knew that the hammer throw was going to become one of the most important things to me. My first time throwing the hammer was a complete failure. I actually threw it in the wrong direction and fell onto the ground. After practicing nearly every day for the past three years, I'm finally at a point where I'm confident in my skills. I’ve competed in national meets all over the country.
